Haven't been following since hearing about it when it was annouced a while back. The reviews rated most helpful on Steam are trashing pretty bad, most because it's less than 2 hours of content apparently, and different characters apparently play the same.

That Power Rangers game looks legit! Almost as legit as the most recent Ninja Turtles game that I played for maaaybe 2 hours before accepting that it wasn't gonna be fun no matter how hard I tried to force it. I'll wait for a CAG review and sale on Power Rangers.

AFC east is far from the worst division in football. Dolphins actually made the playoff this year so the east and west were the only divisions in the AFC with two representatives. The Patriots only lost 2 games this season, one of them in division to the Bills. And as for playing the Texans, who did you want them to play? They earned the first seed and play whoever makes it through to them.

Now the Pats just need to lose so we can see new teams in the superbowl. Pulling for the Chiefs for that reason right now.

 
Haha, Cowboy fans talking about calls against them. One of the GB WR had a hold on him so much his pads were out of his jersey and those refs didn't do squat. It was a good game in the end but I feel like they allowed Dallas to get back. A lot of things not called.
 
That game was pretty fairly called. Dallas had some stupid penalties early that put them behind. Their defensive cord should have prepared them to only sub when chains move and to not jump off sides to give Rogers free plays.

I loathe the Pats more than anything and while I'd rather see the Chiefs win tonight, I can't see them coming close to beating New England so I think the best chance for them to lose is to the Steelers so for the greater good I'm pulling for Pittsburgh.

All that being said, there were PLENTY of uncalled penalties on both sides. Not the type of balance I look for in a game of ball, but balance nonetheless.

As a Lions fan I know what's it's like Losing and have been with the team since Barry Sanders was a rookie. Just take the L and move on. It doesn't matter what your season record is if you can't win a single play off game, that goes for both the Cowboys and Lions.

Fun fact: The Packers were even injured as hell and still won. Jordy Nelson, Morgan Burnett, Sam Shields, Eddie Lacy, even Davante Adams near the end all hurt. Rodgers is amazing.

Agreed. If you have working legs and arms he can turn you into a play maker.

While this game was heart-breaking to me, my biggest regret for this season's Cowboys was turning over the reigns of Game 16 to Mark Sanchez and just flushing the chance for a record-setting 14-2 season down the toilet.

I'm watching the first level of Power Rangers, seems ok. It's on YouTube, I think from ign. Classic beat-em-up, some different mechanics as it goes along. CAG-sense means I have to wait for $10 sale though.
 
I really want to learn how to play Killer Instinct, but I've literally never played a fighting game for more than five minutes besides N64 smash, if that even counts. It seems to be a very imposing learning curve. Has anyone here started out with Killer Instinct and turned it into a success story of actually being able to play online?

Killer Instinct does have a pretty good tutorial as far as 2D fighters go. That or Skullgirls are the two I've thought were more informative. I think Blazblue usually has good ones too. Personally I learned a lot for sparring with friends and looking stuff up online and on Youtube years ago, before any of these super in-depth tutorials came around. I built myself up for clueless to doing decent online on Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix, Street Fighter IV, and Marvel vs Capcom 2 and 3 like five or so years back.

Killer Instinct itself can look intimidating due to it's emphasis on ridiculous combos, but the fundamentals aren't much different than other 2D games. You just have to get a grasp on Combo Breakers on top of the normal stuff. Overall I think it's not too bad to get into, it's certainly not as complex as MvC 2 or 3, though I've only messed with KI a small amount compared to my 360 fighting game days.

Smash, especially 64, isn't really a good parallel to other fighters aside from the concept of mind games. Execution and movement is totally different.

You're probably going to get rekt if you just hop right into online, the biggest thing is to not get discourged and try to learn for every match. I know when I started with SSF2THDR and Street Fighter IV, I focused on learning specials first, then combos. But if you're fighter illiterate you should try to learn basic basics like how to block properly, cross ups, and things along those lines. Finding regular people to practice with could help make it more fun.

Or is there anyways to put it for sale on ebay that will take steps to protect me as the seller?

Per ebay ToS, you have to be selling a physical item. So you can only sell codes which you have an actual card for and you're supposed to ship it to them. DMing the codes is what we all want as buyers, but that voids your protections as a seller. People can probably still try to scam you on the codes even if you send the card, I don't know because I just buy from ebay.


Our trade thread here is pretty decent, but it's still in your best interest to check rep before sending codes first.

eBay is okay if you ship the code and don't send it via email at all. The problem is the payment dispute process on PayPal can be used to show that the buyer didn't receive the package (and the process doesn't work for email) and they get through via loophole. A scammer will have it shipped to a bad address and you're f'ed. Happened to me.

Better off selling here.

I've sold codes on eBay before and sent them over DM/email without issue, but yes, the risk is real for people to try to scam you the way other have described.
