I think that was the pack in DLC from back when they were doing that project five dollar (or whatever they called it) thing that morphed in to online passes before they dropped it and made it all free. Back when they were trying to carrot you in to spending the extra for a new copy instead of giving you the stick and making you buy it.

Brady is the goat because of that comeback combined with his other accomplishments. The accomplishments are arguable, but that was the biggest come back in super bowl history. I'm a broncos fan, I love peyton, I love elway, but Brady is the goat.
 
A dedicated fightpad is coming, probably a lot better than that other controller I posted a week or so ago, it just can't substitute as a normal controller since it has no sticks. Hori makes great stuff, I'll probably go for one of these by the time MvC hits. It works for 360 as a bonus too.

This should be great, I have the Sony version. There aren't good sticks generally available under 100 for anything, I have the Brook converter and it works great for MK/KI with my Razer Panthera/Hori RAP4.
 
Caught the end of the third on. It was an intense game. Most of my family is in Georgia or Massachusetts. After the third it was radio silence from the Georgia family except for one person. Feel a little bad for them. They were giving us a hard time that we weren't posting trash talk like they were before the game. It's been a few years since I've lived in Boston proper but I can only imagine what the college kids are up to; I lived half a mile from Fenway during the 2007 red sox win and it was crazy.

Speaking of converters, my controller had an update with the last big preview dashboard update that made it so my controller doesn't work with Titan One. I have to use an old controller for it to work
 
With all this GOAT discussion, I just wanted to chime in. I thought about Montana and the years he played with his accomplishments. And it looks like it's in his favor. He was drafted in the 3rd round. He had to deal with no real free agency so teams were built from the draft. He had to also deal with a rule book that was much more lenient towards hitting and the quarterback had no extra safety built into the system.

But then you think about Tom Brady and the fact that he's won with a bunch of nobody's. He had a good defense in his early championships but so did Montana. He plays in a safer system for quarterbacks but the players are much faster and stronger than ever before. And it's hard not to look at this last game and proclaim this final comeback as the seal of approval from all football fans across the world that the new GOAT is Tom Brady. That man is a baller and I can't hate him for doing things his way. His entire football career is a storybook.

Great game and congrats to the Pats Nation. You all have a lot to be thankful for. And Brady says he wants to sign a 3yr contract extension so Mr Kraft and Belichek better pick up some stud receivers to help Brady grow his legacy.

I HATE the Patriots. Hate them. Tom Brady is the GOAT. WatchIn the last 1.25 quarters last night was like the best thing that Jordan ever did + the best thing Gretzky ever did + the best thing Montana ever did. It wasn't even close. One guy took an entire team on his shoulders last night and shredded a team that had dominated 65% of the game. He went from 200 yards passing to almost 450 - the second highest total in SB history - in 20 minutes.

This would have been like Jordan scoring 50 in the 4th quarter of game 7 when the Bulls had been down by 40 when the quarter started.

This would have been like Earnhardt comming from 43rd to Win the Daytona 500 on the last lap.

This would have been like Gretzky notching a 3rd period hat trick when Edmonton was down by 2 to start the period.

One person made that comeback. He willed his team to the largest comeback in SB history - in 20 minutes of game time.

There is no discussion. He is the greatest professional athlete of all time. Even though I hate the Pats, he's a player that we'll talk about until we're gone and that our kids, if they're old enough to have watched that game last night, will talk about until they're gone.

I don't personally care about all of the "cheating" stuff as I find most of it silly, but the idea that you can quantify the performance of an athlete in a team sport almost exclusively by their performance in championship games is ridiculous. Not saying Brady isn't the best quarterback ever, but also not saying that x number of Super Bowl wins automatically makes it so.

Lolwut.

That was a great comeback. But better than the entire combined careers of Jordan, Gretzky and Montana (the last of whom doesn't belong in that list, by the way)? Somebody has a flimsy grip on sports history. How could anything done in one game surpass what someone like Michael Jordan (who won more titles than Brady, by the way) did over his entire career? That's crazy.

ALMOST as crazy as saying that Brady literally did it all by himself. Yes, he performed really well, but he doesn't make that comeback by himself. I'm not even sure how you can make that argument when he literally can't do anything on the field without linemen to block and receivers to catch his passes.

These QB-centric storylines kill me. The position has been so romanticized and overemphasized by fans and the media that it's hard to watch a football game with the sound on. The oversimplification of what is actually a very complex game and supposedly "the ultimate team sport" is kind of sad. I won't deny that QB is the most important single position in the game, but even considering that, the media has managed to overemphasize it somehow. It's an impressive feat, honestly.

I know a couple of Ohio sports fans who feel that way. He left the town in the worst possible way and only came back when his "super-team" in Miami failed to pan out quite like he imagined. I think it's kind of fascinating, really. All of the jersey-burning hatred and the short memories of fans who accepted him back in the hopes of getting a championship at any cost is a real testament to how important winning is to them.

I've been around the block a few times lol. The weekly sales really are hit or miss. Dragon age Inq. for $12 was the last good sale imho.

Really kicking around the idea of buying FH2 and Storm Island for $30.  Seems expensive since FH3 exists now and I just bought that for $30 but the used market is not any better.  If I am liking FH3 will FH2 feel like a major step backwards or is pretty great on its own?

if you like FH3 definitely get FH2 and FH1, the beauty of these game is they are similar but feel very different thanks to the landscapes and objectives. I have enjoyed all 3 games and was very happy to start over when FH1 became BC.

Like they said previously, you'll fully enjoy FH2. It's great and is not much of a step back as FH3 is better and made improvements, but nothing that antiquated FH2. FH2 has really resisted much of a price drop. I got it for about the same price physical from Best Buy the Christmas season it came out and I can't remember a time it's been less than $25 anywhere. I can't imagine it doesn't drop in price soon, but I've been thinking that for awhile now. Storm Island is a great expansion, too, especially if you like more arcadey and wild racing. I'm only speaking of the Xbox One version, I've heard from many friends that FH2 on the 360 was a terrible disappointment, like the second half of the Super Bowl for Falcons fans level of disappointment.

FH1, as much as I loved it, is hard for me to go back and play now. If you got it GWG, then by all means go back and give it a try, but the power of next gen really opened up the gameplay with a much more open world and more to do in the sequels. I'd buy it really cheap if I didn't have it.

I've just kept mine installed from the previous weekends and they'll update it before the weekend. Hopefully I can play for more than two rounds this time. I don't know of it was my internet or ubi's but I had a pretty bad connection the last two weekends. I need to do some experimenting, I'm starting to think my sound bar is interfering with my wifi. I'll have a full wifi connection with pretty good numbers but I'll play a multiplayer game and some times it'll lag pretty bad when my roommates game plays fine.

Dang it! I was trying to be smooth and get two entries lol but yeah the original now.
 
Anyone ever have their Xbox One headset just stop being able to hear the other people in the party out of nowhere? I was playing Gears 4 with my cousin the other night and I couldn't hear anything towards the end of our session. He can hear me just fine though. It's weird, the mute button lights up but the volume buttons don't work anymore.

Any problem I've had with a headset (short of it being physically busted) when plugged into a controller has been fixed with a swift unplug/replug.

Are you in the Alpha Preview Program? if so, i have had some headset issues since the new user face update. Resetting controller and xbox has been the only way to fix it. Funny thing is I have only been having issues with the newer 3.5 mm jack controllers (Edit: When using the micro hdmi port for for my headphones). The headset works fine when i plug straight into the headphone jack.

Nah not in any preview program. I plugged and unplugged it multiple times to no avail. I guess I'll have to buy a new one if this keeps up. Talking through my laptop via Windows 10 kinda sucks.

He didn't just leave. He strung along Cleveland and their fans with the chance that he'd come back, but his ego was so huge that he announced The Decision as a huge ESPN special from a Boys and Girls Club to try to put up as much armor as possible to protect himself from the backlash. Add in the "Not 1, not 2, not 3..." thing and his thin skinned denial of any and all legit criticism of the whole thing for that first season in Miami and there's no way it can be waved off as nothing. The fact that he even recanted that whole thing and apologized for it in his return announcement shows that he knew it was out of line.

There's no reason any Cleveland should have for ill will towards him anymore unless they're stubborn and want to hold onto arbitrary, petty grudges for the rest of their lives.
