Please note:

  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance.
  • Some sales are intended for Gold subscribers only, as noted within each section.
On Xbox One, Gold trials of any length work for sales and Games with Gold.  You must be an active Gold subscriber (paid or trial) to play Games with Gold purchases.
  • On Xbox 360, you must have at least a 1 month Gold subscription for sales and Games with Gold.  Neither 48 hour trials, 14 day trials nor free weekends qualify.

[*]All known sales and information on sales should make their way into the OP. Major Nelson usually updates his blog with new sales information every Tuesday.
[*]ALL OFFERS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE! No information within this thread can or should be construed as accurate (or still valid), therefore ...

watched totalbiscuit play pit people online co-op on PC, seemed excellent. however I hear the campaign is very short right now, as the devs are still adding more stuff.

Somehow this isn't "play anywhere", otherwise I would have bought it by now
They have a good relationship with MS obviously but it's still an indie and not a big MS owned blockbuster.

Didn't see this posted (?), but the Angel City Bundle for Titanfall 2 is discounted ($18.xx) from $25. If you own the Deluxe, it does repeat the two Prime Titan customizations. There's also a customization pack for each Titan, a skins pack for everything, and an emblem pack.
So is everything from the Deluxe Edition included in the Angel City bundle? I can't seem to find any confirmation online.

Is Mega Men worth the $6?

From someone who has never played one.
It's definitely a great price and the collection is well done. However, if you didn't grow up on 8-16 bit platformers then it may be too unforgiving, although save states go a long way in making them more accessible. They've generally aged well compared to a lot of NES games, but if you try to play MM1 totally blind, you'll probably rage quit something fierce. I recommend starting with MM2 and revisiting the original once you have a feel for the series. MM4 is debatably my favorite, although that's a relatively unpopular opinion among fans.

I replayed the collection on Steam, 3DS, and then X1 in November, and still love it.

Anyone getting UMvC3?
As soon as MS actually gives me the oscar promo gift cards. It's been a week and I haven't got one yet. I tried asking Xbox support but they told me I have to contact microsoft store support but they only let me call them. I'm not looking forward to that tomorrow.

.Anyone getting UMvC3?
Sadly yes since it will most likely never be BC.

I bought the Witcher 3 season pass since it finally went on sale for a good amount off. I finished the game awhile back.

Sadly It's the worst timing ever considering I'm deep into Zelda and Persona 5 is less then a month away.

Ill still be exploring the galaxy in Andromeda when P5 comes out.

I didn't really dig the new Zelda. It's pretty, and it sounds good, but I dunno. Just doesn't feel very Zelda like to me. Don't get me wrong it's a great game, but I don't see how all these guys are like 10/10. The stamina system is tedious to force foraging, both climbing and swimming are annoying. (I need to get over there, better brew a stamina potion, oh I am out of mushrooms? better go find some) Also the shrines are a little pointless. I have only done 8 and gotten to the first city, but i'm not really dying to go back and find some more shrines so I can spend 3 minutes to walk to the end with no worthwhile rewards.

After seeing all the reviews tho, I think I am the only one with this opinion, so I am happy it's getting some love.

How are the lost planet games? I'm considering getting one or two in hopes they go bc since I basically only turn my 360 to buy games with credit.

Can't speak on the first Lost Planet but the second one is one of the worst pieces of crap I've ever played. My cousin and I did a couple levels in co-op and it was just wack as hell. Turned that shit off within an hour or two and returned it to Gamefly the same day.

not missing much

old now and nothing too out of the ordinary but they aren't bad single player games for just some alien shooting

don't expect much

I also grabbed Stranger of Sword City. It's just the type of Japanese game that my Xbox One's library lacked so I had to buy it. And it was cheaper than the Vita version which never happens.
I'm on the fence still about SoSC. The NDS and Etrian Odyssey ruined those games for me, cause having to draw your own map was such a throwback for me to the days of playing D&D and drawing maps to the ever increasing incredulity of our DM. To those that missed out, back in the old days you'd have a friend spend weeks crafting a dungeon on grid paper, and then spend 4 hours making a mockery of it. Good stuff.

I also just noticed this in the description: "This title contains the three core elements of attraction for dungeon RPGs: character creation, conquering various dungeons, and dungeon crawling gameplay." So, the 2 core elements then? :)

Wait till you get Legend of the Wastes (0.18%) or Overachieve Much (0.15%) :)

I am about 3 Days away from Interior Designer (0.08%).

Not sure I will get Blast from the Past though (0.04%)
Lol yeah I know.

I should get More than Handy tomorrow with my 1st theme finished by then. I don't think I'll ever get all the legendary characters or weapons but maybe in about 3 months lol.

I'd say no if you were paying cash but if you've got some spare creds the first one is pretty good. Piloting the robot suits is fun and the story is good too. Most people say the other 2 entries suck because they drift too far from the 1st ones story. As for BC if any of them go BC it will be the 1st.

I believe the lost planet games have demos available for the 360, might want to check it out to get a feel for it. I'm thinking about DR4 season pass even though I'm no where near finish with the game. And I kinda want UMvC3 but I already have it for the PS3, so I think I'll wait until further discount.

It might be discounted further in the next few months, but I went for it since I had an overabundance of GameStop credit to spend on PSN and Live cards. In all honesty, I rarely play my Xbox One because the library doesn't have as many Japanese games so this will give me an excuse to turn it on more. It's really the type of game that I'd prefer on a handheld like the Vita because I could play it on lunch breaks but the $10 difference is what made me bite.

So is everything from the Deluxe Edition included in the Angel City bundle? I can't seem to find any confirmation online.
No.

The Deluxe has the Prime Customizations for Ion & Scorch (the first two Titans - changes how they look) - this is the only content repeated in the Angel City Bundle from the Deluxe Upgrade.

Deluxe Upgrade Contents:

Get the Titanfall® 2 Deluxe Edition upgrade to stand out on the Frontier with access to the first Prime Titan variants - Prime Ion & Prime Scorch, available this December. These sleek, updated Titans are primed for battle – changing the sound effects and offering up devastating new executions. Additionally, on day one, customize every Titan with instant access to exclusive Excalibur Chrome Warpaints and Thunderbird Nose Arts. The Splinter Ocean and Quantum Ocean Camos are also included and are ready to be applied to every Titan, Pilot, and weapon in the game.

Angel City's Most Wanted (Bundle):

Become the most feared Pilot in Angel City with the Angel City's Most Wanted Bundle. Bundle contains all cosmetic paid content launching with the free Angel City DLC. Ion Prime and Scorch Prime unlock new chassis, sound effects and executions. Art packs for Ion, Scorch, Northstar, Ronin, Legion and Tone adds 5 Nose Arts and a Warpaint skin for each Titan. The Angel City Camo Pack comes with 20 exclusive Camos for every Titan,Titan weapon, Pilot, and Pilot weapon. The Angel City Callsign Pack comes with 20 new Callsigns and 10 Callsign Patches.

I only have three left - "Get Off My Lawn" (I upgraded too quick, but I'll get it eventually), Interior Designer (for crafting all the themes - have two left), and Blast from the Past (I have 8/23 total). So, probably will just go for the first two and then not try for the last.

After all of the talk I had been hearing about SoSC I was going to get it this AM.

Got to work and it is the only thing that has gone off sale.....

Oh well, guess I really didn't need it, then.

Has everyone gotten their MS store gift codes for the Oscar movies? Think the terms said 5-7 business days. Well, it's been that long and I don't have a single one yet.

I will never understand the size of a lot of updates we see. 9.87 GB update for Halo Wars 2? That's almost 50% the size of the original game and for what? I haven't bothered trying to look up what the update is even for but I swear most of my monthly data cap goes to bullshit like this every month.

Unless I am mistaken, the only person who claimed that they received their gift code is Trench. Consider the source.

I got all 10 of my gift card codes in my e-mail. I believe a few others have reported last week that they got them.

Threes just had an update that completely removed the "Play a game while snapped" achievement.

Rarest cheevo confirmed. (The description was changed, something about playing three games of Threes.)

Whew! I just bought it, and got that cheevo last week to get my gamerscore back to even. (Yes, I paid $5 to even my gamerscore...)
Hey, I did the same after the Mad Max game messed up my gamerscore and I simply couldn't let it be. Thank goodness for a free amazon gift card that I used to get spacebucks to buy "The Bridge" that I think was on sale, can't remember. A few minutes later, my gamerscore got to even numbers and I've had peace of mind ever since :D/

Voodoo Vince Remastered releases 4/18 ($14.99) on XB1 and Win10. New trailer at the spoiler. (Looks ok. I never played the original.) Would rather play Yooka-Laylee - which releases a week prior.

EDIT - Upon further thought, this game actually looks pretty terrible.

Gears 4 March update out today. The new maps (Diner and Gears 3's Old Town) look cool but I was more interested in the second wave of Funko pops  :whistle2:  They also teased "legacy" characters coming in April. First one looks to be the Locust drone. Fingers crossed for Myrrah coming out soon.

Do not wait to contact MS support about this. I waited until after the "waiting window" for the Elf code and they said they couldn't issue a credit because I waited too long. They wouldn't even refund the movie purchase. Such BS. I'm not even interested in that movie and I only bought it because it was going to be "free."

I may be mistaken but I believe some updates are so large because they're not just adding to the game, they're replacing good pieces as well. For example there may be a patch that fixes or adds to the texture files and they all end up in the patch, even if they don't need to be fixed. Next time a game updates look at the size of the patch and the size of the game, I wouldn't be surprised if the size of the game after the patch isn't as large as the game before plus the size of the patch.

I'm pretty excited for Voodoo Vince AND Yooka Laylee haha :p

Huh, Lost Planet 2 coop was one of me and my friends favorite coop games, had a kind of shooty Monster Hunter vibe to it

Yep, files are likely being overwritten vs a whole 9Gb being added to the install footprint, at least for a game like Halo Wars 2. I know for Doom and the MCC, that isn't the case, they just take up a shit ton of hdd space.

I played through the Yooka toy box demo and it was boring and drab and didn't control great so hopefully the final product is better.
I've played neither Vince or Yooka - but I find it hard to believe you think Yooka also looks drab. (I was speaking on color palette.) The only reason I compared them is because they are the first 'big' platformers on XB1 and are coming out a week apart.
