Chicago is just a great food city because everybody comes here and we have plenty of options. I'm pretty sure we had two of the top 10 restaurants in the country at some point. Smoque, Lillie's Q and Green Street Smoked Meats are all fantastic for BBQ.

Re: the ending -- The endings always show up in order, regardless how you do. So when you clear 2 of the 4 major bosses, it triggers the first ending for El Sueno (the major/final boss). If you go and encounter him right away, you get that ending. BUT, if you wait until you clear all 4 bosses first (which is the trigger for the other ending) and then approach him, it will still show you that first ending first because you triggered it first, if that makes sense. Replaying the final boss mission will then get you the other ending if you cleared all 4 bosses.

They are like a jankier version of the Telltale games. I played them both with a guide for the achievements and enjoyed them though I think the puzzle solutions sometimes didn't make sense. I would recommend them to any achievement hunters but to others there are definitely better adventure games out there like Book of Unwritten Tales 2 which is $2 this week.

Since I didn't buy anything major in the spring sale, I guess I'm going to pick a backlog game to work on.  I'm on the last level of A King's Tale, so I'll probably polish that off... but since I just finished Titanfall 2, I'm thinking an open world game would be a fun one to sink some time into.  Either:

1)Recore

2)Assassin's Creed 4 (I started this over a year and a half ago and got a few hours in and moved on to something else)

3)Skyrim

4)Watchdogs (I play 1 before I start 2... all OCD here)

I'm leaning toward one of the Ubisoft games because I do enjoy them.  What do you all think?

I played just the demo of Recore (have the full game just haven't played it).

Haven't played Skyrim (maybe a demo long ago)

Between AC4 and WD1, AC4 is the better game. One of my favorite PS4/XBox One launch titles. WD1 was ok, lots of people hated it. A bit repetitive.

So I say AC4 or Skrim if that is your jam.

I was also interested but it smells like future GWG. It is already BC and it is a THQ property. This is probably the last fire sale before it goes GWG later.

Thanks. I probably would have overlooked The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 (Xbox 360) for $2. Sucks the Xbox One version isn't also on sale.

I haven't played it in years but from what I remember once you get used to the gameplay, it actually gets fairly easy. Maybe not to get the highest rating or whatever it is, but to keep going at least.

That's my (admittedly vague) memory of it.

I meant to check if I still have the disc because I was considering picking it up if I don't.

I think all the Stuntman games are supposed to be difficult. That was the big draw of those games back in the day. In their heyday, they were the Dark Souls of driving games.

I got a confirmation email but yes it's looking they messed something up which sucks I was so happy for a while. Lol oh well. I wish they would just say so. Some people are worried because once they got their confirmation they booked plane/hotel. Sucks for them.
 
Went ahead and picked up Shiness. It's a little rough around the edges but is a charming little indie action RPG. The combat is especially fun with a 1-on-1 fighting style that helps it stand out from other games in the genre.

Hope this dev does well enough with the game to make more games on a hopefully larger budget. They've got talent.

Why? They have different characters and a different story I would assume. WD2 is the superior game. I would just jump straight into that. And yes I am OCD about playing games in order but I just don't feel it's necessary here.

Not sarcasm. I believe that the general consensus is that the main character in WD1 was just unlikable plus the infamous Ubisoft downgrade where the final game looked nothing like the E3 trailer. Personally I didn't mind the main character but didn't find the game interesting enough to play more than an hour. WD2 is much more interesting and fun right from the start.

Pt 1 is more story based than 2, but 2 is more fun with things to do (rc cars, drones, hacking cars to drive on their own..etc) plus alot more colorful and vibrant since it's set in the San Fran bay area. The only way 1 carries into 2 is a couple of the characters pop in the story and new DLC, but they're explained for the ppl who didnt play 1

Thanks for the link. That's interesting. Hopefully they'll offer a yearly price at a discount, like Live. If not, I can see myself using this one month at a time whenever they add a game that I want to play, but I definitely wouldn't keep the service year round

Yea I saw. Not sure why they won't just raffle them. Less headaches all around and most of all less time wasted. Poor guy is getting alot of hate lol. Oh well it was fun thinking I got in while it lasted.

They're being optimistic if they do it the same way again they will just get flooded again. Something is going to go wrong. Anyway good luck if you end up entering.
 
So I'm really late to the party but I'm playing Walking Dead Season 2 since it was free with GWG.

Episode one bored me to tears, two was decent and the third one started to pick up but the first season seems to be a lot better. The saving grace being that return character for me.

But please tell me in season three they finally fixed the jank? The game literally pauses for like 6+ seconds during some scenes for no reason. Overall improved over the season one issues but I don't know how Telltale kept getting away with that stuff. The first season was my GOTY back when it was released but It's gonna take a miracle in the last two episodes for me to love this one as much.

Anyones thoughts on the new season?

I do love it. I haven't played in the last two alpha Wednesday's so I'm not sure what's been added but it's pretty fun. Using a mic is really important as communication is key. I don't think I can really talk to much about it here, but teamwork and coordinating go a long way.

If you guys are gonna hop in the alpha let me know, I can show you the ropes a bit and we can find some treasure and hopefully sink some ships

I rented season 2. Became unplayable halfway through. I'm also curious about season 3.
