Frame Rate being optimized via hardware and software. They'll look at bottlenecks and improve upon them. This is like tweaking a race engine to the optimum performance. Also get learned son.

I'm not too concerned about the launch price, since I'm going to wait at least a year to see if there are hardware issues before I buy one.
 
For me price is not the end all be all deciding factor.  If they have a Star Wars edition of the S or the Scorpio, I'm buying it.  Simple as that.  If not, then I will get a 4K HDR TV come Super Bowl time and re-evaluate then.

I feel like I've hit two home runs with these Smaller games I'd never heard of before.  Little Nightmares was great IMO, and I'm really enjoying Rime.  By the time I was about 15 minutes or so in, I knew the direction the story was going.  If you enjoy puzzle games and some nice visuals, I highly recommend this one

Who what it that said that they were playing gears of war 4 about a week or two ago? Couldn't fine it using the search engine. So far I've completed the first two chapters and so far it's pretty good. Not game of the year or anything. but your typical fun gears game. Feels a lot like Uncharted 4 with a lot of fans service and reboot of the series introducing the new characters.

Also nearing the ending the the Halo 5 campaign and that's been pretty fun too! Now I'm not a halo/gears head as I've been mostly on my PS4 lately with all the onslaught of PS4 games earlier in the year. Still just wanted to say I've been having fun with the campaigns.

I just don't see this (unless it is like $299) making up much ground. It is a high end product for those willing to pay. Those who went out and bought large 4K HDR sets and want the best console to go with it. That isn't the majority of console buyers.

I think some people might be overlooking a major point of the PS4 Pro and the Scorpio. These aren't really supposed to be next gen consoles. They are really just enhancements for the higher end crowd that also serve a marketing purpose for the standard consoles. It's the same reason car dealerships have Corvettes in the showrooms. People like to go to the Chevy dealership and see the Corvette, maybe sit in it for awhile but eventually get that moderately priced sedan. Having a high-end console makes the standard consoles look more affordable. It also promotes brand loyalty and gives die-hard fans and whales something to spend money on to feel like they're getting the best. Companies have been doing it for years.

Both Sony and Microsoft may not really care how many Pros or Scorpios they sell as long as they are making a decent profit since it provides other benefits to their overall branding.

I'm not really surprised it's so low, but that 1.5% is still enough to buy a lot of good will, new comers that already had 360 games like it, and people like us praise it. It's mostly the hardcore that care about BC, a lot of more casual players do not care to play games they missed or even go back to old favorites except rare exceptions. I know several people IRL that had not touched BC until Black Ops 2 came out.

 
Just an update for everyone looking to get Zazen the Zen meditation game, matchmaking is seriously borked and the balance is so unfair in the competitive mode it's not funny. If your not the host you have no chance at all. I recommend waiting for a patch, I can't recommend it in it's current state.

Ridiculous space issue. Working on getting a 2TB on my 360 and swapping out my 4TB with a 5TB on the One. I hate that stupid 500GB onboard.

I originally figured on resetting the thread around the time of the usual July Ultimate Game sale, but there have been some decent sales the past few months that has pushed the post count faster than I expected. Since MS's presentation is Sunday, I didn't want to reset during the build up to or during the course of E3. Though I haven't seen any of the issues large threads have had in the past, nor seen people complain about them, which was my usual driving force to start a new thread, aside from the start of a new year.

 
Since no one's said this idea yet, why not release the Scorpio console itself and a 4k hdmi and power cable for 400? Add a standard controller for 450 and a elite controller for 500 bundle. 600 is just to much for a console and basic controller.
