  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.

Pleasantly surprised to see The Bridge. It's not often you see a game in black and white. If you liked Braid, i think you'll enjoy it.

Be warned that the puzzle solving gets really difficult quick.

It hasn't been THAT bad. I got AC Liberation and Banjo Bundle from it so far. Just waiting to see what is on sale tomorrow. If nothing, I'll bite on Skate 2.

You mean AC Lib, Banjo just happened to become available during the sale. The week long stuff is quality and varied and mostly good prices but the daily stuff has been a downhill slide in either quality or price.

Only weak in the sense that I own most of the games that went on sale already. Otherwise, it's not a bad series of prices.

Honestly, hasn't been terrible IMO. I've picked up my fair share of games so far. Was hoping to see a lot (or at least a few) more games coming in under $5 (3.75 is my "buy anything" price point, at least for GoD). I seem to remember older stuff like PDZ, Prey, and Table Tennis going for that much either holiday sale or last summer sale. Haven't seen much like that this time. That's not such a terrible thing for my backlog though

i was actually going to pick it up, but my gold just expired today (and i don't have any plans on renewing it right now), but i have played the game when i went to go visit my parents and it was a blast to play

If you have played the original Darksiders, it is a huge improvement.

I had a blast playing it: exploring, completing quests, killing stuff - the whole nine yards.

I would recommend it.

To me, it seemed Zelda-esque combined with some RPG.

Maybe God of War/Dante's Inferno-like because of the hack-and-slash style of play.

 
I got The Bridge when it first released, based solely on the art style. It's a lot of fun. It has uneven achievements and I know that might bother some, but it was worth $10 and is a great price at $5. Some seriously tricky puzzles that'll make you feel great when you figure them out.

It freezes up every time I play it for an hour or two. It just froze again, which is why I'm at my computer right now. Some of the gold brick challenges are frustrating as hell, mainly the flying and rc cars. I've completed all story and free play, with the exception of the few remaining bonus levels that I need more gold bricks to play.

Darksiders 2 is great. It has a few problems -- I didn't like the loot system they added and there was some padding the game would have been better off without, but it has great art direction, fun combat and good music.

 
So what happened to Bioshock Infinite being on sale?  According to Major Nelson's latest podcast, they teased it would be one of the games on sale this weekend.

Not that I need Bioshock Infinite, but I definitely want to pick up a sale-priced season pass for it.

Stream 1 has been a bit delayed. I was hoping 2 would be as well so I could watch some of it.

If anybody gets SFxT add me (with message plz). My current partner is "having fun" at work with everybody else quitting, so he doesn't get a lot of time to play until they hire more people. I could use a lot of practice playing solo. If you somehow suck worse than me (is hard to do), I'll pick random characters to give you a chance :3 (haven't played in a few weeks, so I'll probably be extra sucky this week)

You guys weren't kidding about KOF13 online. I won my first match, but it pure luck. Everything in slow motion. Not fun at all. I'll be sticking to offline.

Major nelson lists Dead Rising 2 off the record, for the sale as well. Didn't see it mentioned as the fifth game so...

Bioshock infinite and season pass and maybe Bayonetta and Revengeance for fun for the last day I hope.

I'd be all over it if I didn't play DR3. Not sure if I can go back to slow 🐌 Dead Rising.

I'm still thinking LocoCycle is the X1 deal for Monday night for either $7.50 or $5 (hopefully $5) because of that ad in KI.
