Please note:

  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.
  • Some sales are intended for Gold subscribers only, as noted within each section.  This requires being a paid subscriber or within a console-activated "1 month complimentary Gold trial" account.  Neither 48 hour trials, 14 day trials nor free weekends qualify.

I don't think they allowed it when they originally asked. MS changed their policies a lot throughout the last couple years. I think fans wouldn't mind the game getting delayed for a month or 2 to implement the feature if they took the time to ask again or research other cross-buy games. Fans wouldn't have even found out about it getting delayed because the current release date was just announced. A little research would be better than creating a shitstorm for themselves and Microsoft. At this point, they will have to quickly implement it before it launches or fear backlash from players that were told there would be no cross-buy that rebuy the tables again. Hopefully they can put it into the game quickly before it launches or delay it.

Except that Microsoft is the publisher, so I'd like to think that they would want to help put the game in the best possible position to succeed on day one and not months later when it's forgotten.

The 360 site uses marketplace.xbox.com while the XB1 uses store.xbox.com, and your logged in state doesn't always carry over between those subdomains. Someone mentioned yesterday they were having issues with Guacamelee. The status page notes an issue about "Buying downloadable items", but the description implies it's just for TV shows.

Thank you very much bloomy! I've been trying from time to time for weeks and kept gettin an error msge. I don't know what i was doing wrong. Besides there wasn't any link in the first post till now. Anyway its kinda unlikely i'll buy a xbone but hell free is free and you never know.

Holy sheeet! Those are literally the only GoD left I really want to own (riptide for my gf, catherine for me and metro for both). Also all three have had a good behaviour regarding price, with consistent and rational price decreases and offers, so they shall be mine on the next sales. Can't wait for september!

I was going to grab the Banjo Kazooie bundle on Xbox Live while it's still $15. I have just over 10,000 points on my Gamestop power up rewards account, and they sent me an email today, reminding me of this, suggesting I use 10,000 points to get a $10 off any item coupon. So, I do. I roll in to Gamestop after work, and grab a $15 Live card. Coupon doesn't work. Turns out "ANY item" excludes gift cards. At least I got their phone support to refund the points. I will relish the day Gamestop goes out of business.

was excited for battleblock moved the 360 upstairs to get a connection annnd man is it over rated. at least i got an avatar item as it has already been deleted seems like an hd version of the alien hominid pda games which I played 10 years ago

Really? They must have changed those or the employee was incompotent because I've used them on PSN and Amazon cards in the past.

It is a lot more fun in co-op. Played custom levels on PC because the day after I bought it, they announced it would be GWG. I'm looking forward to playing story with a friend.

Along with the other three or so games that XBLDB spotted that's quite a few random price drops--if that's what that is--I wonder if MS is slowly getting on the ball about what digital games should be priced.

This. Battleblock theater is one of my top 3 couch co op games, and I played pretty much all couch co op games.

So I was picked  #14(last) in TUF on UFC. Way to instill confidence in me. Anyways this game is badass, just the fact that I get to use my gameface is pretty awesome. 

PS- This is the bloodiest, nastiest UFC game yet. Love it.

i bought 5 $60 AC4 codes from newegg for $40 each (33% off). it's basically xbox credit, doesn't have to be used for AC4 (i used it during the ultimate games sale and a few XBOX1 digital games on sale.

bought wolfenstein (digital) on sale for $40 using the credit from newegg, which means i paid $26.67 for wolfenstein. boom.

 
Just to make sure, the Freedom Cry DLC for ACIV is single player only, correct? (so by waiting to install it i'm not missing anything in MP)

I was thinking of picking this up since I'm enjoying Avatar: The Last Airbender. The thing is I've only seen 5-6 episodes so I don't want Korra to spoil anything.

I haven't watched Airbender yet and there are some minor spoilers as she's the next incarnation and it's like a generation or two after the first series would have been. So you may as well watch the first series then move onto Korra if that matters to you.

Saw a Far Cry Compilation for 360 at Target earlier this evening.  It was released in the US back on the 1st, containing Far Cry 2, Far Cry 3 and Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon.  MSRP is $29.99.  According to a GameFAQs post, each game comes on a separate disc (PS3 apparently had a download code for Blood Dragon), though all 3 are stacked on top of each other in the game case.  Like other XBLA on disc releases, Blood Dragon must be played off the disc.

Europe and Australia got a Far Cry : The Wild Expedition release back in February containing the above games plus the Far Cry Classic XBLA.  Blood Dragon and Classic are apparently download codes.

Haven't seen any mention of the DLCs being included.

So that's where Redbox got their Blood Dragon disc. I thought it was odd that they had brought back 2 and 3. I'm really excited for 4 (I love the series), but didn't think others would be excited enough to bring back 2 and 3 to kiosks months before 4 releases.

The games barely have paid dlc. 2 has a couple maps and weapons. 3 has some pre-order missions that eventually became available for everybody to buy. Would have been nice for Ubisoft to throw them in anyways.
