  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.
  • Some sales are intended for Gold subscribers only, as noted within each section.  This requires being a paid subscriber or within a console-activated "1 month complimentary Gold trial" account.  Neither 48 hour trials, 14 day trials nor free weekends qualify.

I love that the Xbone suspends your progress when the console shuts off. Got distracted earlier while playing Ryse and the console shut off but within 30 seconds I was back playing exactly where I had been.

That "feature" actually annoyed the shit of me because I felt like I couldn't actually stop the game. Eventually, it made everything start to blank out or stutter. I turned to energy saver mode and am much happier that my console actually shuts down when I tell it to.

I have mine on energy saver too. I want my consoles to last as long as possible. I don't mind waiting for it to boot up.

You can stop a game, press the start button on main window and choose quit.
 
^yeah i've seen a few people say that they like it. Other people don't even need to own the game. If you hosted a game you could just post the code here, and play with a bunch of CAGs who are using their phone or PC to play.

Yeah, but I would recommend broadcasting the gameplay or something, otherwise you're playing along, but don't really even know if you get the right answer or know what the other people are doing

 
Thanks for having lackluster sales these past 2 weeks. Microsoft, while I wait for AT&T to install phone and internet services since I moved. Looks like it will be installed Tuesday so please give me and my fellow CAGs something to cheer about tomorrow night.

Can you broadcast the game? I didn't see any broadcasts on the Store page and my friend was not able to stream it last night. I'm not sure if he was having issues or the dev restricted the feature. I think they can do that. I'll probably buy the game tonight and try. It sounds like it'd be a fun game to play/stream during our Extra Life marathon.

2K / Borderlands / BioShock. Borderlands Pre-Sequel is about a month and a half out, gotta build hype. Tales from the Borderlands is still slated for a release by the end of the year, though that's probably just the first episode.

Been a while since there's been a Sega sale.

I read other people were watching broadcasts. Might have been using a different method than Twitch app though. Since anybody with a phone can play from anywhere, it would be really fun to stream and play with viewers.

Yeah, the game had a certain charm and the characters were fun, but the game bored me to tears. I couldn't decide which img to go with, so I'm going with a couple of 'em!

Well if you were to ask me, it's a overrated series.  Not that the game is bad, but you definitely need to play the game co-op in order to enjoy the game.  Plus I don't think it has matchmaking, at least the 1st one didn't.

But for free, why not?

 
As dumb as it sounds, I'm trying to decide if I should grab the MW3 DLC collections while they're on sale. I picked up a copy of MW3 for $10 when my local Kmart went out of business. Played around a bit, seems fun, but I don't know if I should drop another $30 when I have every other game except Black Ops 2. I mean, it does help that I'm going to wait on AW until I can get it for dirt cheap, but backlog, broke, etc etc.

Anyone who has the DLC and opinions?

Well, only the first 3 collections have achievements if you care about that sort of thing.

I bought the 3rd during the sale, after already having the first two. I haven't downloaded that or the second one yet though. (the "collection" is just a token that unlocks the downloads for the content through the game menu)

 
Ghosts season pass is back to $49.99. I was going to buy it today, too.

And Diablo is up on the Xbox One store.

I think somebody mentioned earlier that you can stream it to friends or whoever is watching and they can play along if you don't mind a little delay. Didn't look like there was a time limit in the video.

Yeah, there's a delay when you stream but if that's just in being able to see the results that's still neat.

There is a timer on choosing things. The PIP covers it up a bit in the video. But you'd know when to enter your answer by watching your phone update, anyway.
