CAGiversary!
If I have two 48 hour XBL codes, can I enter both of them right away and have 96 hours or do I have to wait for the first one to expire before using the next 48 hours?
You can enter them at the same time, they'll will add up on each other.
Are you sure about this? I'm pretty sure 48 hour codes can only be used by silver members, and after you use the first you're counted as a "gold member", at least in that regard, and the 48 hour code won't work again until the other one wears off and you are back to plain "silver" status.

actually my membership recently fell to silver a little before christmas and i wanted to wait til after the holiday to buy a new subscription card so i used 2 48 hr cards. my gamercard stayed as silver even though i could play games online for the 48 hours. also, i just entered them one after another... i liked that better because u end up getting a little more than 96 hours because u enter the 2nd card the next time u play.

That's why included that little clause "at least in that respect".

You also aren't allowed the Gold privileges of sending and reading messages on Xbox.com, downloading Gold member content, and playing Halo 3 ranked.

I knew there was some reason why I didn't just enter them all at once.

Anyways, I'm still not sure it would work, unless someone here has actually done it themselves and can vouch for it.

Or any ranked for that matter, my friend ran out of gold and wanted to play ranked GH3 with the 48 hour trials but only player match and co-op worked.

I've spent a lot of time dealing with these 48 hour codes. You may only use one if you are a silver member and do NOT have another 48 hour trial currently active.

Really? I used to have codes and game them to friends, i'm sure they activated the codes in one time.

Sorry for the misinformation.
