***I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO GIVE CREDIT TO Ixnay because it was his/her thread I saw for the TRU deal but it was OOS so I had to source it elsewhere***

Read on..for now

Okay so I see a lot of you are buying the dell coupon on ebay? I didn't really click the thread so I don't know how much they are going for. Hopefully for less than $6.25 because that is what I paid for shipping for these cards. :( So if you get the dell coupon for under $6.25 turn away now! For people who do not want to buy that coupon but rather talk to a csr to price match, continue on. :D

Well, ToysRUs have 1 month gold xbox live cards for $2.48. Sears.com has it for $7.99. Sears has a price match policy plus 10% of the difference. Difference is 5.51 so 55c off. The card is $1.93 after all this.

They do have 99c shipping but that is per item or so I was told. I will see if I can get the difference between what I paid for shipping ($6.25 and the 99c refunded).

I purchased 20 because I was told I can get 20. 20 x 1.93 + my tax(7%) + 6.25 ship = 47.55.

I hope I did well. Let me know.

& to compare to the other deal, if you buy 13 of them it comes out to $25.09. With 7% sales tax and $6.25 shipping final price is $33.10.

bump for a smart idea.

so u paid full price and are calling them for a price match? or are u going to try instore? whats are u gonna do exactly?

How are you price matching online? You mean bring it to the store? In addition, some Sears stores will check the online inventory, and if it's out, they'll call the store for stock and price. YMMV if that's what you need to do.

You might want to try Circuit City too. Mine didn't bother to check stock when I was pricematching Harmony 360 remotes to Sears clearance...

I called Sears Customer Support at 1-800-349-4358 and did an order over the phone. It did say "Not available online" at Toys R Us but he may have overlooked it. Just be nice to the guy/gal. If you just want one, the shipping is just 99c so it will come out to just under $3 shipped. For 2 of them, $6. So on and so forth. But after 6, shipping is a flat rate of $6.25. Hope I didn't lose anyone there :)

I already completed this. I posted after the order. I called Sears and showed them the TRU site and he went ahead and did the price match + 10% difference. Unfortunately they charged me in full but will refund the difference and he said it's usually same or next business day.
Sounds like a hassle.
It's not. I made it sound overly complicated by explaining what is going on in the first post.

All you need to do is call Sears (or Circuit City) and tell them you want this and you saw it for $2.48 on Toysrus.com ... they will do handle the rest.
