i was just at gamestop and the compilation disc with 5 xbla games is only $5 at gamestop good deal just for pacman championship edition and boom boom rocket everything else is just a bonus

Which disc is this exactly? Is this the same one that several stores were clearing out for $5 - $10 a few months ago, and that Amazon had for $7.99?
 
I've seen this and was thinking about picking it up. The disc is the pack-in from the Arcade units. It includes Boom Boom Rocket, Feeding Frenzy, Luxor 2, Pacman: CE, and Uno. I've already got Uno but it's still a great deal.
 
its the one that comes with the arcade pack just thought you should know the games by themselves cost a minimum of $5 a piece so i was just giving you the heads up it was news to me and i hope it helps somebody

Thanks for the clarification. Then it's not the one I was thinking of. I may check it out. Does anyone know what to search for on Gamestop's website to try and use the in store locator?
 
there's one that came with the arcade 360 systems - this is the disc he's talking about (it comes in a green box)
there's one that you could buy separately called arcade unplugged - this is not the disc he's talking about (it comes in a white box)
 
although marked as used, most of them are really new, but were pulled as the new holiday bundles were made which had sonic and something else.

these are teh green covered discs which came with the arcade and not a bad collection for $5.

If I remember correctly, the XBLA Unplugged disc is like $7 used at Gamestop too. If it's not, it definitely is at Blockbuster.
 
The one I got I think had been opened to sell as used as a previous poster mentioned. It is well worth the $5 just for Pac-Man CE.
 
The 5 games are:

PAC-MAN Championship Edition,
Uno,
Luxor 2,
Boom Boom Rocket
Feeding Frenzy.

I have only Uno, so I'll definitely buy this disc :bouncy:.
 
Got one in West Norriton, PA. They had at least 6-8 more in the drawer. The disc looks brand new. The games are pretty good, the only slight annoyance is that it puts you back at the My Games blade everytime you want to switch games instead of the disc menu (not a big deal).
There are two numbers on the Gamestop UPC: 952225 and 102408RJZ011
The game doesn't have its own UPC/SKU since it was "Not packaged for distribution separate from the Xbox 360 console"

I would be all over this if you could just install the games onto the harddrive (as if you had downloaded them from the marketplace)
 
When I went to go pick up my girlfriends arcade console at GS he asked if it was okay that he open the box in front of me. I said yea why? And he told me he was switching the arcade disc in there for this other one which was a double case like the old Star Wars/Tetris or any of the other 2 free games with an xbox console. So he replaced the included arcade disc with the Sega Sports Tennis/Arcade game case for the holiday bundle.

I asked him what would happen to all of those left over arcade console discs then, and he looked at me and said, well knowing the store we are probably going to take each one we replace with the holiday bundle and sell them, even though they are technically free.

At least he was honest! And I got the Holiday bundle the day they came out so they probably just finally started putting them all out for sale. And this is the reason they why many of yours look so brand new. They can't sell them as brand new seeing as it says not for individual resale, so they just tear them open and sell them as used games, even though they case and disc are brand new.

Haha. As a former gamestop manager, I can tell you that's the date of the sticker being printed, and the guys initials who printed it. I don't know what the last three numbers are, but that is not a SKU at all.

got one in valencia,CA....says that it is used, but the disc looks really clean for a gamestop used disc. Came to 4.87 with edge card
 
I already owned all 5 games and just got the Arcade unit last month. I wish I could find the one with Astropop that cheap.

Wow, nice price. The problem is I already have PacMan CE, Uno, and Luxor 2 (I think :whistle2:k)... So is it worth $3.50 (after Cellfire discount and Edge) for Feeding Frenzy and Boom Boom Rocket? Keep in mind I still have plenty of 75% off XBox Live points cards ;).

My 5 year-old son might like Feeding Frenzy and I have no idea what Boom Boom Rocket is, but I guess since I'm heading to GS tonight anyway I'll check it out.
 
They only game I have is UNO. I want this for Pac-Man CE only. On Monday, I will try and find it. With the cell fire coupon, I will be looking at $3.60 plus tax.
 
Every GS I've been to the past month had stacks and stacks of these. I picked one up for $9.99 a few months back, so it's easily worth $5 now.

I personally love Feeding Frenzy, although many a gamer has gone mad trying to get all the time consuming achievements on it.
