You need to be logged in as a Gold Live member to see the sale.
So you have to be Gold to get the discount?

EDIT: Yep. You sure do. Lame.

That's how all of these deals of the week work. It's kind of lame, but all I can suggest is either paying or finding a free month trial (the two day ones only enable multiplayer, I guess).

I lucked out and got a year for $20 by trading, so I'm going to go for this tonight. :D

Got Puzzle Quest. Here's hoping there are some good deals next month. I've got a bunch of XBLA points to spend, but won't buy anything right now unless its on sale.
How much quest is there in puzzle quest? 50%/50%?
Depends on how much time you put into the side quests. The main quest is absolutely long enough to warrant $5, but training mounts and forging items can be huge timesinks if you want them to be.

There's a reason why Puzzle Quest is on virtually every gaming device known to man: it's a good game, and some of the most fun I've had with an RPG, puzzle game, or game period in years.

I played Puzzle Quest on the DS for about 2 hours and thought it was so-so. Played Puzzle Quest Galactrix on the DS for about 10 hours and thought it was so-so. Now playing it on the 360 and I'm totally hooked. Something about this presentation. Great game. Easily worth $5. Like someone said before, this game you can press the story and move along, but it's been feeling like a better game when you just want to have fun and explore.

was about to buy Puzzle Quest when I saw this in the same game. Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords - Revenge of the Plague Lord 700 points.

Can anyone tell me what this is? Some kind of expansion? More levels? More achievements.

It doesn't seem to be its own game. Should I just wait until these are packed together or bite now. thanks.

It's an expansion although why anyone would need more Puzzle Quest after finishing the main game is beyond me. There is a huge amount of content in just the basic game.

Have puzzle quest for my cell phone. Debating on the double dip. Although I'm still thinking of saving my points towards Trials HD or that Defense Grid tower defense game. Wish Amazon would start doing some of their own XBLA sales again!!
