XBLA - Kingdom For Keflings - 800pts

Has anyone else picked up this game at the current 400 point price? I got it and I love it. I've only played for an hour so far, but the gameplay is very addicting.
I beat the game a while ago and would love to come back into this wonderful game. This game needs DLC and my personal opinion a crazy Black vs White like Village vs Village war scenario. You could build up a catapult from a siege works building and escort it with your big ass avatar! I brought this suggestion to the xbox forums and someone from NinjaBee said that the game was never meant to be hostile, more so relaxing. That's why its an add on dlc scenario mission!
*snickers*

If you need this fix, there's always Age of Mythology, Titans expansion. which is a pretty awesome RTS in itself.

Yeah I played the crap out of that game, hasn't aged very well. I loved Age of Mythology and especially some of the custom Lord of the Rings maps I played.:bouncy:

As for Keflings, I beat it a while ago, came back to it to get the other building blueprint and haven't played it since. Might come back to it for the dlc maps though.
I definitely had a lot of fun with this one, so I might be interested in picking up the DLC, if the price is right. If anybody wants to help out with the achievement where you have to collect banners from other players, let me know.
I'd definitely like to knock out this achievement, so let me know if you'd be up for building banners in each others kingdoms.

I would also like help with that achievement.
Everyone who joins my game only tries to destroy and move stuff around.:bomb:

thought the latest patch prevented griefing, and only ppl in your party or friends list can deconstruct.

I didnt know they fixed it. Thats good, back when the game first came out people kept coming to my game and destroying stuff.

I got the mp achievements today by simply joining random games with 3/4 people in the game already and I just said I'd build a banner if the other people would as well. Do that 3-5 times and you'll have both the mp achievements without going through the hassle of setting stuff up on here or hosting a game for hours.

Is it possible to move the buildings in this game?

Also, the two Kingdom packs which are available to download, are they basically two more campaigns?

Yeah - I wish those add-ons had descriptions! How do they expect people to buy them if they don't say what they are? Not sure if they say anything more on the xbox, but on the web it says absolutely nothing about them other then that they cost points!

Are you talking about the 2 map packs? They are just new maps, everything else is the same. The maps are fairly different so it does make the game flow a little different. I tried one from the second map pack, and I had to spend a lot of time in the beginning just digging through resources to get the basic tools like the sheep shearers, etc.

Yes it's possible to move buildings. Press "X" (IIRC) to punch the building, it will break down first into sections which then you can move to new locations using the same blueprints. If you keep pressing "X" it will demolish the building completely and give you supplies.

just remember if you dismantle a building that is a house, cottage, manor etc the keflings tied to that house (who were brought to your map via love) will stop doing what they were assigned to do.

Great! Thanks for the information!

Thanks for pointing that info out! I might end up picking up one of them once I've completed the game myself (my kids are close, I've played less) and if it adds enough value, then probably the other. Or I might just get the first pack now and play one of those maps instead of the built-in map, just so I have a different experience from what I've seen my kids have.
