XBLA - Mega Man Universe - Cancelled. God, why?!

I wonder if we'll be able to play as master robots. I'd leaf shield the hell outta everything.

i was expecting level design to be in, robot design i was somewhat expecting but not totally. the ability to create robots should have an atributical effect on how you play I HOPE

This sucks. I wonder if MM Universe got dissolved into the Mega Man Legends 3 Project. They seemed similar in the fact that both are heavily fan influenced.
 
That's a pretty good theory rodiums for a while it looked like MML3 was getting canned before this announcement
 
Maybe Capcom's worried that being able to build your own MM levels will hamper future possibilities, like a MM 11? Just a thought. I was really looking forward to playing as bad box art Mega Man :(
