Dungeon Defenders is a steal @ 15 bucks, but cheaper is always better.

Hoping for Orcs Must Die @ 600 or less, and same for Bastion.

half minute hero, radiant silvergun, guardian heroes, crimson alliance, ms splosion man for 160 like splosion man was.

You guys asking for Orcs Must Die and Dungeon Defenders need to get on board the steam bandwagon. Both were $3.75 recently over there. Bastion was $5 too, which is a better price than what XBLA will offer.
no achievements
fuck that
Steam has achievements and it seems like most of the new games have them.

XBLDB looks like it's picking up some stuff:
Hard Corps: Uprising 1200 ->600
Bangai-O HD 800 -> 400
Guwange 800 -> 400

and... YES! Radiant Silvergun 1200 -> 600!

Other arcade shooters/shmups will probably drop too. All I need now is Ikaruga.
I knew I had a good feeling about this week.

Grabbed Radiant Silvergun + Bangai-O... debating Guwange... any recommendations for/against?
Grabbed Radiant Silvergun + Bangai-O... debating Guwange... any recommendations for/against?
If you like CAVE shooters then it's at least a must-try. $5 is worth it imo.

grabbed all 3 games plus battlefield 3 add on "physical warfare pack" for free!

Sure is a good week...btw I did check guardian heroes..didn't drop...not yet!

It should also be mentioned that the Youtube App and the Syfy App are now live on Xbox Live.

My rating of the apps:
*Youtube- 3.5/5
*Syfy-2/5

Radiant Silvergun is mine! Passing on Guwange due to the extreme Achievement difficulty (shallow, I know), but it's great to see these games finally go on sale.

Everyone should buy Bangai-o Hd, such a phenomenal, but sadly underrated game.

Picked up Guwange and Radiant Silvergun. Already have other two. :)

Going to pick up Bangai-O. I bought Radiant Silvergun when it came out at 1200MSP and haven't even fired it up :(

Well heck, bought Bangai-O too. I have always wanted to play the game, but never owned it on other consoles. Can't say no to Treasure games! (Already have Hard Corps.)

UGH, I already own all the games that're on sale. Though I totally recommend them all (as long as you're fine with hard games).

Woah, Bangai-O had an title update? Why was I not informed of this?!

Sadly underrated?

It got an 8.5 on IGN, 4 stars on Joystiq, and 19 positive reviews on metacritic, with ONE negative review.

It's hardly underrated.
oooh. I already owned Guwange, but snagged Bangai O and Radiant Silvergun. What awesome deals this week. Should I go for Hard Corps?
If you've enjoyed any past Contra game, then yes. But be warned that it cranks the difficult pretty high at times (though as you go through Rising Mode, getting upgrades & such, it'll get easier over time).

Hard Corps' Rising Mode is tons of fun if you like grinding-oriented games like Castlevania HoD. It's also quite pretty.
thats weird radiant silvergun isnt gold exclusive
I noticed that too, but don't want to put it in the OP since it is likely a mistake.

Throwing the new MN stuff in the OP real quick before my final. Don't expect links, just info until this afternoon.
According to MN, Sonic CD is listed for this Wed. and only 400 points. Hopefulyy that isn't a mistake.
AWESOME. Glad to see it's only going to be $5. I was thinking it'd be $10, but for $5, that is a great deal.

& I'm sure the date isn't a mistake, as that's the same date listed on Sony's site for the game's page.

I'll pick up Radiant Silvergun and already have Hard Corps. Not the biggest shooter fan so will pass on the other two. I want to save points for the upcoming deals anyway. Hoping Daytona USA and Guardian Heroes are part of the upcoming sales. Those were the two games I played the most on my Saturn.

I was about to say I was bummed about this weeks sales cuz I'm not into shooters and Guardian Heroes wasn't on the list (being a treasure game). But Sonic CD....even at 1200 points....makes this week awesome. At 400 points, I've died and gone to hedgehog heaven!

Absolutely nothing for me to buy here as I own it all...... first time this has happened in 2011.

And for anyone who has any questions on any of these titles - please ask. I bought all 4 at full price and honestly this being a DotW makes me overjoyed. This means more people will buy and be playing 4 of the best games on XBLA!

But the sells figures are poor. Last time i checked Leaderboards only 10k people were in.

I'm excited that we're going to have another countdown to New Year sale, there have been some great things on those before. Only problem is that I'm going to be away for some of the period and they're all one day only, aren't they?

I should be able to get onto Xbox.com, though, even if I'm away from my console.
But the sells figures are poor. Last time i checked Leaderboards only 10k people were in.
I think the word you were looking for is underappreciated. While the game is well-rated by critics, it wasn't appreciated (enjoyed) by as many people as you would have liked.

Also, hell yeah to Sonic CD coming out this week!

I posted this article today:

Sonic CD Developer Diary reveals amazing behind-the-scenes artwork

It really is a great video, showcasing not only tons of art but also lots of footage of the remake.

Already have Guwange, but am mulling over the other 3. I tried the demo of Radiant Silvergun and wasn't sure what to make of it, but I'll try the demo again. Also need to try the other demos.
But the sells figures are poor. Last time i checked Leaderboards only 10k people were in.
It's a niche shooter. What do you expect?

Great sale this week but I need to pick two.

I've tried the demos of each and I'm torn. Assuming that the difficulty scales up--off the chart in some cases--after the demo level, how would you rank the full games? [in terms of "fun" and single-player experience]
