question about minerva's den... I haven't touched bioshock 2 yet, what is the best order to play though? Campain and then minerva's den or vice versa?

They don't exactly relate to one another. I would play it second.
After the intro levels in Bioshock 2 you have a little big of a slog before you get to an amazing final act.
Stick with it though.
Well I wasted 400 points. I bought the classic FX tables pack and just as I did that I remembered that I had them unlocked because I bought Pinball FX 1.
ALMOST did the same thing. Surprised they aren't listed as the same item. :whistle2:/

Totally picking up the fx2 tables. Paranormal just whetted my appetite for more pinball.

SMB at 400 is an easy recommend. One of my favorite xbla titles. If you like challenging platformers its a no brainer!
So is there a list yet of all that's on sale yet? I know there is a bunch of stuff on sale now!!!
Just added the stuff listed on the dash to the OP
I already have FX2 and the Marvel tables. Is the FX Pinball Original worth buying for $5?
I would say "no," unless you're just really into pinball. I have them because I bought the original game and imported them when the new one came out. They're still fun, but pale in comparison to the new stuff.

Yeah, the Marvel Pinball Pack was taken off on the Dashboard, but it still shows 400 MS Points and works when you unlock it inside the game.

So I've heard everyone rave about pinballfx2 for so long now, I wanna get into it, and compile everything I can pretty much.

Is PinballFX2 core what I need to get started with the game? And I guess I can buy separate tables after I get that?

Another warning while I'm thinking about it: EA shuttered Battlefield 2: Modern Combat's multiplayer a few months ago, so your fifteen dollars spent here is on a strictly single-player affair

Crap! I just downloaded this like a minute ago!

I don't think I have the original Pinball FX1 though... I think... gotta double check now.
I already have FX2 and the Marvel tables. Is the FX Pinball Original worth buying for $5?
You'd be MUCH better off spending 400 points (200 each, regular price) on Excalibur and Earth Defense. Those are great tables. Seems like the PFX guys started getting a feel for the proper layout about that time in the game's life (those were the final two DLC packs for PFX1)

I am new to pinball too but heres how it works. You download fx2 and you basically have the core mechanics and a pinball store. Within that game you can buy tables or download trials of the tables.

Core I think is the combo of 4 tables fx 2 launched with. Pasha, rome, etc. (im just guessing here, havent actually looked it up) the marvel pack is 4 xmen themed tables. The classic pack is the converted tables from pinball fx 1, but I hear they arent as good and have some glitches with their achievements.

Can anyone comment on MTG2012's difficulty? I got my ass kicked after the tutorial pretty badly. Is the entire game pretty difficult?

Hrm im not too excited about this sale. Im DLing stacking trial now to give it a go, and Ive down SMB before and didnt care for it.
Was really hoping to see: bastion, braid, outland, pacman ce dx, shadow complex.

In for the Marvel Pinball FX 2 DLC. Finally!

Shadow Complex has been on sale numerous times. i would have liked to have seen Bastion though. Oh well.

The way sales appear on the new dash is a useless mess

I'll add links and such a bit later in the day. Give MS some time to work out the kinks

Its not too bad. Sometimes you get a bad hand and just get screwed but other times you will get a perfect hand and just slap the ai around.

Some decks are better than others or better vs particular decks than others.

Still no complete deck customization but better than the first magic arcade game. At least you can remove whatever cards you want from your deck.

A big part of MTG is learning what a good hand is and if you need to mulligan. Well if you are new to MTG there is a learning curve, I played paper magic for a few years so It was natural to me.
MTG is really a lot of fun through and I 100% recommend it if you are looking for a fun TCG. Also FYI there is two DLC out for it atm, recently released 2 deck pack for 260 MSP and a 3 deck pack for 400 MSP.
Is there anything more in the XBLA edition of Fancy Pants that I can't get for free online?
4 person multiplayer and new levels, yeah.

Yeah, though I only recently started buying XBLA games =(

Nothing for me so far; closest would be SMB. However, I've heard it's a challenging platformer and I'm not really into platformers in the first place. On a side note, I probably miss out on a lot of good XBLA games because of that, and it's kind of strange given that I got into games in the NES games where every other game was a side-scrolling platformer.

The sales are subjective to the people. This thread would be pretty mad if you got your sale because, aside from Bastion, every game you mentioned has been on sale for half price or less already.

I would like some help for a pinballfx n00b.

If I have this correct, the game is free to download. The core pack for fx2 is 4 or 5 tables, and from there, tables can be bought separately?

The marvel tables are fantastic from what I've been told, as is excalibur/earth defense. Any other suggestions?

I'm not really into platformers either but I love SMB! I would recommend trying the demo. The humor and charm in this game are magic and while some of it is very challenging it is all doable with enough practice. Im not quite at 100% on it but its bc I started playing other games, not bc its too hard.

Oh and the SMB prop you can unlock is awesome!

Just grabbed the Pinball Core pack. I own everything else I want in that list.

Can't complain much. It left me with enough money for the other 2 sales!

Picked up both of Pinball FX packs, Outrun Online Arcade and the AC:B DLC I haven't gotten yet. Not a bad deal at all, plenty to play now for awhile.

Also, I don't know if this has been mentioned before, but Outrun Online Arcade is going to be delisted from XBLA in December, so if you want it, NOW is the time to get it. This will more than likely be the LAST time its ever on sale, and probably the last time it's ever available to purchase. I probably won't play it right away, but I'm still bummed I missed out on getting Marble Blast and it's DLC.

Oh god, more fuel to my Xbox live arcade addiction. I now have a bigger backlog on Live Arcade than I do with my store bought purchases and that is a scary thing indeed. Picked up Super Meat Boy, The Baconing, Phantasy Star II, Outrun, Fancy Pants Adventures, Sega Soccer Slam, and Da Vinci Disappearance for AC Brotherhood.

The developers for Super Meat Boy will be happy. Just read an article last week that talked about how pissed they are at MS because they have refused to put the game on sale. 400 points is 66% off. That should jump start some sales.

When does Jurassic Park hit Xbox Live Arcade? I thought it was supposed to be out already.

The Marvel tables are definitely some of the best. As for other tables, Rome is one of my favorites & Ms. Splosion Man is pretty good too.

Just make sure you skip Rocky and Bullwinkle. Its hands down one of the worst tables I have ever played. Skip that one for sure.
anyone know what that Fallout 3 premium theme looks like? any good?
Used to have it on my old profile (before it got corrupted), but I always liked it. The friends backgrounds are locations from the game, like a ruined sewer, a nuka-cola machine, a vault boy, etc. I liked it a lot, so it's a good buy.

Anyway, I bought the Pinball FX boards. I don't have a pinball game, and after getting the free board from earlier in the month, I feel it earned some more boards. Looking into the boards suggested earlier and the Ms Splosion Man one.
I can't finish the OP yet

xbldb missed a couple indies and and xbox original so far.
Reddjoey, xbldb always misses indies and xbox originals. ;)

I don't scan for those. I think the scanner is already pretty slow and adding more to scan would just make things worse. I can't afford to increase my hosting and I don't want to charge for the site so unless indies or xbox originals get achievements I won't be adding them anytime soon.

I am still contemplating adding non gaming avatar items and possibly the Zune marketplace but again those would only make the scanner slower.

Also I can only scan xbox.com so unless the price is reflected there I'll always miss it.

I going to be spending time with family over the holiday so I won't be on here or xbldb.com much but the scanner will be running. Hoping for some good sales.

Won't let me go through w/ the 400 Ms. Splosion man purchase... although it's still listed as 400. "Purchase cannot be completed at this time."

Does this usually mean they're switching it back or is it just glitched up currently?
I believe Marble Blast Ultra is still available on GS.com for $5, I could only find the link below and it says "Marble Blast Ultra DLC" but I guess this is it.

Best Buy sales Marble Blast Ultra too for $5. I got it last week and everything worked fine. I got the code in like 15 mins and the game downloaded to my system no problem.

They are probably switching it back. You can keep trying, but I'm guessing the 400 price point is no longer available and your SOL. :whistle2:(
