Learning how to play poker is easy - learning when to do things like fold, raise, and bluff is the tough part.

Keys to Free Online Hold Em' ( AKA Why Free Poker Sucks)

1: Go all in 1st hand every time

2: If you win you will have huge chip lead, just play tight.

3: If you lose, who cares, its free.

Yeah... maybe they will track wins and losses so there will be more incentive to play as if money is involved. I hope there is an option for say a 500 point buy in and you just keep playing until one person has all the chips. If you get your buddies involved you could play for real money where like 1 point = $0.01. It would be a great way to have a poker night without leaving the house.

It was stated on Major Nelson's podcast that they will be tracking wins and losses and a bunch of other stats. There will also be tournaments that are held throughout the year.

Awesome. I need to add this podcast to my routine (there are so many video game podcasts I listen to though!). I freaking LOVE Xbox Live. I never owned an Xbox and I never felt like I was missing anything except Halo so I was very very hesitant to buy a 360. I have no regrets even though I've only played Call of Duty 2 for about an hour - I spend all my time playing XBLA! I'm definitely getting Burnout Revenge though (and possibly Full Auto depending on the reviews)...

um, yeah but we don't just run out and buy $400 items for each other without discussing it first... it's all one bank account...

SWEET! That's awesome. I hope more free arcade games come out. I don't mind ads, as long as they're not moving or anything.
