XBN magazine shut down

So, I understand that XBN magazine has been shut down. I just renewed my subscription about 3 months ago. It is good through 12/05. I have not been notified of a refund or any other recompense. Does anyone know whether my renewal $$ are gone or will I be reimbursed?
 
You should receive a notice in the mail asking you to choose another Ziff Davis publication for the remainder of your subscription. You should also find contact information there in the event you would prefer a refund of your remaining subscription fee.
 
Wait... What if I got a subscription through our glorious free magz thread? Do you think they'd send me some money?

Highly unlikely. I really like that mag too. I wonder what happened?
 
Somebody paid for an XBN subscription?

My freebie subscription already got switched to EGM. No offer of any other choices, it just started showing up even before the final issues of XBN showed up.
 
This sucks. i liked XBN better than OXM. But they did say that they were gone "Until further notice" If you read it carefully.

I agree they were much better. I wish that XBN was the offcial Xbox Mag.
