Nothing permanent. Under my Silver account tag it's now telling me to "Get Gold Now".

It'd still be better to get it elsewhere, as Amazon has the 13 month card for $40 and probability of notax.

Just $39.99? After the rash of $29.99 for 13 months, this is beyond disappointing...I was hoping MS was testing the waters to see if a new price point of $29.99 was the way to go.

Well if they made the $39.99 a perm price drop it would be a start, then $29.99 a "sale". I'll gladly pay $30 a year for Live but anything more then that is currently a waste considering all the sales that could have been had.

OK - so i logged into xbox live with a silver account and the deal was there - only if you upgrade from silver to gold.
