You can't use that for 360 games/dlc. The 360 supports a maximum of 16GB of space on a device plugged into a usb port.

The official xbox 360 hdd 250gb for slim is $90.54 on amazon, making this a total of ~265 for a 250gb xbox 360 with a matte finish.
