Xbox 360 Accessory Discounts at Amazon

First off, HDMI cable and the wireless adapter should not even be listed as deal. Only luring the poor clueless souls buying them (don't give the BS those things are better, save your lectures).
Not even sure where this even came from. No one mentioned anything about these items being better or anything. The wireless adapter, though, is something some people do want for a couple reasons. One, you could use the old Xbox adapter, but it's a little more clunky and only uses WEP, which some people don't want on their home network. Two, you could use a laptop, but not everyone has one.

As long as i'm showing my respect other than the-naked-king-wearing-cloth way, i think i'm being fair. If not, then hell, i'll be a CAG on my own term, not some KAG (kiss ass gamer).
Bye?

I'll pass on the controllers. They're usually like $25-30 if you buy on CAG. If you're looking for a wireless adapter, seriously. Go buy an original XBOX adapter. They're like $30, they work on the 360, and it's practically the same. I bought one to connect on live, and haven't been disappointed yet. The only time I buy from amazon is through Points2Shop, since I have points on there. Other than that, CAG Video Game Trading has the best deals around :p

The live card is a steal though. That's $3.07 a month! :O

CheapyD- put up a referral to the :360: VGA cables and I'll bite since they're on sale for $31.

(yes, I'm aware that they were on sale for $10 at TRU, but I don't feel like wasting gas looking for them)

Exactly my point, save your gad damn lecture why you should get one and in some twisted way trying to justify why it's "better" because it's "needed."

It's not up to you to say.
I've been on this board long enough to know that if anyone but Cheapy posted these "deals" they'd be shrugged off. Seriously, if you were on the fence about any of these items, this small discount is NOT going to make you buy these. Although don't get me wrong, if you were planning to buy one of these already at full price, this is a nice surprise.

I love Cheapy as much as the rest of you guys, but seriously, at the RIDICULOUS risk of being called a troll again...you really do need to stop kissing ass.

Here's why this thread is a little pissy... First off, HDMI cable and the wireless adapter should not even be listed as deal. Only luring the poor clueless souls buying them (don't give the BS those things are better, save your lectures). Secondly, if this is posted by other than Cheapy, all of you ass kissers probably torch the poor OP to death. Thirdly, a little referral paying bill is fine with me, but come on, we all know Cheapy is losing money from Amazon referrals more and more (blame Amazon). If you think this thread is making Cheapy good money, then you must think Cheapy is desperate (which i don't think so). Fourthly, i don't give a rat's ass who's forum this belongs to. As long as i'm showing my respect other than the-naked-king-wearing-cloth way, i think i'm being fair. If not, then hell, i'll be a CAG on my own term, not some KAG (kiss ass gamer).
These CAGs speak the truth (with the exception of Serpentor's "fourthly" statement;not completely sure what he meant there). If a "deal" posted isn't a deal in someone's opinion I feel they have every right to voice their opinion (if it's done in a non-flaming manner) without being called a troll. Here's the kicker,REGARDLESS of who the op is!!Think you brown nosers can handle that??

With that being said,I don't think that a few bucks off retail justifies the wait with free shipping (plus NYers like me now have to pay tax) but for a prime member in a tax free state I can see how some of those being decent.

The "fourthly" statement should really be "lastly." Anyhow, i was referring to the comments earlier about "don't say negative things in Cheapy's house." I use the "naked king's new fancy cloth" story as a reference. Cheapy is the king, no doubt, but i'm not gonna shout "the king looks fabulous in his new clothes" along with the other ass kissers when obviously there are no new clothes...
Wish there were some deals on the pink controller. My daughter would like one and I missed the clearances. :(

Wish they would either start selling a 60 GB at a decent price or lower the 120 GB drive dramatically.
A 60gb kit type thing is being released in October. Enclosed is:

60gb HDD
3 Months XBL
Wired headset
and a
Ethernet Cable for a measly $99

Just click on the OP link and search for them. If you got to Amazon from CAG, Cheapy will get the referral for it.

It's funny seeing everyone bitch and bicker over if these are deals or not.

I came in this thread expecting more deals posted along with the ones listed. Instead, I get a conversation whether these are deals or not. You know what smart people do? They just keep it moving. Only a few comments is a powerful way of telling someone that they posted non-deals if you feel that way (And no, these are not the deals "WE" expect to see, but, they are deals that a typical consumer who isn't the type to look inside the forums would like to know about)
anyone know when the controllers with the new and improved d-pads come out? i know they were unveiled in europe a couple weeks ago
I believe they're going to be released in Europe/Asia/S. America as a limited time, special edition tie-in with a soccer game sometime in late Oct. As far as I'm aware, they haven't made any announcements on whether they'll even release it in the US. That said, since they've already designed it, they'll probably eventually release it. Maybe not for a while though.

I'd rather pay $99 for a 60gb hd over $99 for a 20gb like some retailers foolishly charge.

I'd rather pay $60 for a 120 GB HDD that I formatted and switched out on my own. :)

The HDD prices were a major sticking point with me. I'm glad I didn't bow down to their BS.
