Xbox 360 Arcade console deals

My xbox 360 just died and after calling microsoft I found out that they want me to pay $150 to repair it or replace it with another (possibly old) console. That is pretty ridiculous considering you can get a new arcade bundle for regular $200. Before I go ahead any buy that from my local FS I was wondering if there are any deals that I would be missing out on. Id be willing to buy online and pay shipping or buy from the states if the deal is sweet enough.

What's the problem with it? If it's the RROD problem then you should be able to find someone who could fix it for you for a lot less than Microsoft wants.

Yeah, I agree ... mine got the dreaded RROD, and I found somebody to fix it for $40. Works just great now. Try looking on Kijiji.ca or something before you drop a couple hundred bucks.

T4 get one from EB for $99
I assume his problem isn't RROD, as that's covered for 3 years at no cost, and even launch models are barely out of warranty.
That said, my drive just died - $180 from MS, $50 locally, $100 locally to play pirated games
