Xbox 360 Arcade with Assassin's Creed and Blue Dragon for $100

CAGiversary!
A fellow student is offering his Arcade, wireless controller, Assassin's Creed, and Blue Dragon for $100.

Is this worth it? Or should I aim for a new system. I don't know the chipset in the system yet.

Ask him when he bought it, or if he's registered the console yet.

Or call Xbox Live (their number is lying around somewhere) and tell them the serial on the back of the Xbox. They should let you know when the warranty expires.

As long as the Xbox is fine, I'd say go for it.

If you'd have any problems with RROD or E74, as long as the Xbox was purchased within the last 3 years, they'll fix it for free.

New systems only cost 200 msrp, and you can get them for as cheap as 160, and often come with a couple games AC1 and BD were both available for 10 new, and the only reason they cost more now is they are old enough to get harder to find.

This would also include a 3 year warranty.

He should come *way* down in his price, unless he still has almost all 3 years of warranty, or unless you feel like doing him a favor or don't have the additional $60 to get a new system with full warranty.

At that price, get it. If it breaks and you have to get it repaired, it's still a great deal. Be sure to get yourself a nice big flash drive.
