I'm on the fence with this. I got a really long Ethernet cable that's been doing the job. Also, eventually going to upgrade to a 4 GB S model. $50 should be the normal price on this thing.

Is it worth it if you already have the G adapter? I've never really had much trouble with lag, probably because my console is so close to the router.

For people not afraid of hacking their routers: buy a linksys and install dd-wrt on it. Then use it as a wireless bridge. Unfortunately, the router I linked to only does b/g speeds.

Keep in mind that it seems the 360 S built-in Wi-Fi only operates on 2.4 GHz, so if getting off that band is important to you, you might still want this adapter for 5 GHz.
