I'm looking for a deal on a new Xbox 360 premium. For example, a $50 gift card or a free game (a good one). Is there anything like that out there?
 
stootsi.com had one for $300 though the box itself was damaged. It might show up again since it didn't sell out earlier I believe.

Is 'Gamer Savings' worth it?

My problem with a brick & mortar deal is that you have to pay tax, which will be like $25, so the savings isn't that great even with the controller. But if this gamer savings card is worth it then maybe.

I'm hoping there's an online deal in the next week or so because I want to play GTA4! I wish Microsoft had a GTA4 bundle.

What are refurbed 360s going for at Gamestop B&Ms? The site only lists units w/o hard drives and unless I take my drive back and forth from home to my g/f's, I'll need one. I'd prefer a unit with HDMI, too.
 
I'm looking for a deal on one too. I saw that there's a 20% off deal at Meijer's on the 25th and 26th but I don't live near any of them.
 
I just got a Pro from buy.com for 329.99 using the 20 dollar off coupon from Google Checkout.

If it was B&M, it would be 375 with tax.

Plus I used my AmEx, so that's 1.5% back, another five bucks.

Fifty buck savings. Not bad.

may jump on this.. since its best buy ill also have to think about picking up their warranty.. i love the fact that if something goes wrong with my system and i can just bring it in and exchange for a brand new one..

cc had me mail it in which took forever before i got a gc from them

I think mine was 20 off 80, but yeah it's still alive. I ordered on Sunday and being delivered tomorrow (Wednesday). Can't complain about the shipping time.
 
I've confirmed the 20% deal with Meijer CC, so the Pro will be $270. That's $30 more than the Beast Buy GC delivers. Considering refurb'd 360s at GS/EB are $240 w/o HD, this is the no-brainer deal.
 
Try the amazon warehouse. I got a new halo edition one, damaged box, for $315 - gift certificates. Everything was in prefect order, all new, but when I went online to check my warranty status it said it expired this october. I called microsoft up and the indian guy said as long as I got my receipt I am fine. But call amazon and confirm that it is a new item and just a damaged box one.

check ebay too, if you want an elite, thats probably the cheapest place, but then you gotta wait on a good deal to pop up...
 
A co-worker pointed out to me that consoles bought used off eBay/Craig's List/GS/EB may've been modded or banned from XBL. If you've got a Meijers nearby, this is the best way to go.

I will be taking advatage of that deal...never really played the GTA games, exept for the first one so it looks like i'm finally gonna do it!
