Ran into this deal, where Radio Shack.com has the Xbox 360 Messenger Kit on sale for $19.99 w/free shipping. Also has the option to ship to the store as well.

That's not a bad deal for a headset AND a chatpad.

The chatpads are really nice. I thought it'd make the controller feel awkward, but I barely notice mine at all plus I like how the keys light up.

i like the chat pad i got one of these a couple of months ago over at sears for i think like 8 bucks i was real excited about it but i really dont use it at all but the head set is nice

1GameADay has this same thing brand new for 20.98 shipped with no tax unless you live in CA. It's today only, but for me it's a better deal since i'd pay tax buying from Radio Shack.

I would buy that if it was around $10 need to type when I'm gaming.

Get it and sell the headset to a friend. Gamestop sells the chatpad only used for $19.99.
