um the other day I noticed something kinda like that... 5 winners from California out of 6, 4 of them were in a row... it was weird....
 
i think once they list all the winners, they are going to verify their accounts. this is a cool contest with really a nice loophole to get free codes. kinda like the bestbuy/mcdonalds monopoly game. Has anyone on CAG got notification that they won? On a side note, I read an article in the newspaper about these professional sweepstakes winners who live off of their winnings. A new car here, free trips there, maybe a new house, free food, free clothes, etc. Mostly its older women with lots of free time on their hands.

How do people get so many codes...I only have like 5, 1 of which was the free one emailed to me. Do you all just buy a lot of Mt Dew?

When they first started this, they had a referal system, if you forward the email to someone, they would get a code. So people with numerous emails, espically gmail, would send emails to them selves on other email accounts and get tons of codes.

Yup, you're right. I just found this in the rules:

"20. PUBLICITY:

Yes, and then the geniuses here and elsewhere screwed up the whole system for the rest of the honest population trying to win one of these. I find it incredibly humorous that only a couple of people from here have one, and one ($hady) seemed to be totally on the up-and-up, saving codes from work.

As I said earlier, only a couple of CAGs (out of the many who were cheating) ended up winning one... and at least one of them won honestly, by saving caps from work.

And it wasn't cheating....it was bending the rules.

Thank you for your support! ;) LoL just playing since you excluded my name from your rant.

I mixed in some invites but the majority were legit caps. I don't feel like the people here got to out of hand, except for a few. The only person who really made me mad was the guy on ebay who auctioned 3 lots of codes 1000, 1000 and 500, I just did a completed auction search and i only see one lot sold for $275 Buy It Now. I dont know what happened to his other 2 auctions. But then again he's just some dude trying to make a half way legit dollar and taking advantage of a loophole. I've done something like this before, when gmail was the hot thing. I bought 2 gmail accounts off ebay and then sold invites i recieved to get my money back plus some profit. So I cant really get to mad........

can the OP edit the 1st post to say that the email loophope doesnt work anymore? i was almost tempted to start making a couple more email addys but then realized it was too much work. lol. so far i found 3 caps while wandering the halls at work. maybe i can get lucky and win with one of them like someone did here...or maybe not. haha. well good luck everyone!

My wife won on 8/29 and finally got a confirmation notice yesterday on her Account History saying she won. Can't wait to get the prize!
 
I still can't find any Pepsi products with the Xbox 360 codes. The other day I went to 5 different stores (with gas at $3.35 a gallon) and couldn't find a single Xbox 360 Mountain Dew. And it's not like I live in the sticks, either.

In fact, in two stores they had restocked Pepsi products and they had the iTunes caps. WTF? That ended like 6 months ago?!

Q: Are these codes from the email forwarding system? If so, you are only allowed to enter 2 of them and thats it. They wont let you enter more than 2 email codes. They fixed it recently. If these are from actual caps, I would be interested in a purchase. Please let me know. Thanks.

A: These were obtained by way of the email forwarding exploit. Though the codes are still accepted and validated if picked as winners, the system (as of today) only allows two of these codes to be entered per account. The high bidder will not necessaily be bound to this purchase, but please do not bid if you're not interested

Well since they fixed the email explotation and I never got to take part in it, would anyone be able to send me two free codes they got from it that I would be able to use? Thanks alot.

I think he was asking if the limit was 500 entries from everyone combined per drawing?

Each person is limited to 500 for the life of the promotion, there is no limit on how many entries a drawing can have in it though. There could be a million entries if enough people entered codes.

well, I think there are like 5 of us that have won now, and there were only... meh, maybe 15 or 20 trying real hard, as far as I can tell. That seems pretty succesfful really. Amazingly successful even.

With getting 20 or more caps, its gets not too difficult to win, if you know how to spend your points. NEVER SPEND 1 POINT into a CONTEST, always spend 2, and if you see a contest thats low on points, spend 4!
