There is now a 15 perent off coupon floating around (saw it on SD). I just got mine for 342 shipped.

I'm at the page right before you submit the order and the discount is still not yet applied. (You know the billing, shipping, and payemnt options page)
Does it not take effect until after submitting?

The non-media item did it, I just added some crappy $.99 pen.

Though I'm still a little reluctant to get one because of last years problems with 360, have they been sorted out by now?
 
Most people don't have problems. I've had mine since launch and I haven't had a single problem. Just remember to be smart, set it up somewhere so that it can get air, don't move it with a game in the system, blah blah blah. Yes, it's possible it could break down, but that's the case with anything you buy.
 
Thanks, the help was appreciated. I think I'm going to run it by my father first though and order it tomorrow. I have the money but I'd think he would like to know that I put a fairly decent sized purchase on his card first.

Also does it come with standard A/V cables? I don't have HDMI input on my TV.

Just ordered that a little while ago using the 15% coupon. Thanks for the link. Someone on GameFAQs said they had problems getting theirs shipped out for a couple of days and had their credit card charged twice. I'll try to update this if I remember when I get mine.
