Xbox 360 Premium -- worth it?

I've come across a deal where I could secure a complete Xbox 360 in box for $250. It has everything except the headset, which can be had for pretty cheap.

However, I don't have an HDTV. It's used, so I would have to go buy XBL. I don't really like FPS games, sports games, or MMORPGs. I like pretty much everything else.

Is this worth it? I can by all means afford it easily. The question is one of whether I could really use it.
 
It's all a matter of preference. Look at the upcoming games, and see if they interest you. Street Fighter II? Gears of War? Viva Pinata? $250 is a hell of a deal in my opinion, but it's what you get out of a console that makes it worth it.
 
We need a "SHOULD I BUY A 360?" sticky here with a bunch of "what ifs" listed.

Not that I'd expect it to stop people from asking.
 
if there aren't any games you're interested in, then it's not worth it. otherwise, $250's a great price and very worth it. I would pay that much just to play doa4 and geometry wars alone.
 
$250 is a steal as long as it runs great.
It wasn't long ago that finding a Premium was hard to find, even though they are everywhere now your still saving $150 - $20 = $130 in total.
