Xbox 360 Pro Holiday Bundle (with Forza 2/MUA) $334.99 shipped
is the new holiday bundle equip with the falcon chips
No confirmation on that. And many of the bundles are just existing systems with the games (in one case) stuck in the box and stickers slapped on the box.

Mine from Frys was that way, even though it was newer system (Manuf 2007-09-08).

I ordered this Sunday night and it was sitting on my porch this morning (Tuesday). After reading all of the complaints about Buy.com's ship times, I really didn't think I was getting this before next week (and I even clicked free shipping). I guess I got lucky (now watch it brick). It was manufacured on 8/13/07.

Dang...I read that the ones manufactured on and after 8/24/2007 have the new 65nm CPUs and the new heatsinks. Now I am wary about getting one. Can you tell me what the lot # is?
Ok I really want a 360, but I'm very worried about getting a red ring of death...because quite a few of my friends have had problems with the 360. Does anyone know if these 20gig HDMI versions have fewer problems?
in the same boat... but i couldn't pass the FRY bundle deal. I got it yesterday, all five games and the X360 for $408.89 shipped (in two days!).

I did a search on my model number (team FDOU, lot# 0736), it got the Falcon chip in it... as to will it RRoD? I don't know... well, at least it's the new chip and i got five games with it!

Does it has Team FDOU on it? What's the lot#? If it's greater than 0734, then it got the Falcon chip in it...

Wow, I ordered friday night, chose free shipping, and it still says "Processing" under order status on buy.com. Mine hasn't even entered the shipping process and I ordered it 2 days before you. I would be more pissed though, if I didn't have 2 midterms this week and could use distraction.

It's 0736 and Team FDOU. Problem is, there are conflicting reports. Some have said they see the old heatsink with the copper pipe, and some say they see the new silver heat sink minus pipe (which people think=falcon).

At least according to differing message board reports. I couldn't see the damn thing personally (flashlight may not be bright enough, or just looking in wrong spot).

The lot number is 0733, so I guess I just missed it. I've been worrying about buying a 360 since the middle of Summer and just got fed up with it. If it breaks, it breaks and I send it in to get fixed. I just really wanted to play some games.
Oh, the Forza and MUA bundle X360 was made in Sept, 2007 (one month after the Halo X360).
Some of them are just the game case popped in the box and stickers slapped on existing Pro system boxes though.

thats exactly what my local Best Buy is doing, and putting a new LOT# sticker on top of the original one..

I just saw an employee from Toy's R Us doing the same thing. He was opening several Xbox 360's and put the game right there.
My 360 gets here tomorrow morning! Yay! Haha.
Mine TOO!!!! :), I hope that I can sell the games that come with it for Halo 3

Well, first off, that's wrong on many levels...

secondly, you can't kid anyone if one checks the serial# and made date by flipping the little flap on the top of the box (when it flips open, you can see the serial# and date it's made).
Skimmed the thread, didnt see the answer. Is M:UA the original version or Gold?
Original.

Finally- my order has a status of "Sent to Warehouse" so it will be shipped within 1-2 business days *if* it's in stock.
