Xbox 360 S 250GB 280$ @ dell.com
Does anybody know if the new xbox 360s have issues like the old model?
I think it would be too soon to tell.

Oh, they've fixed it, just not in the way that you'd expect.. or maybe you would.

"It has emerged that Microsoft has finally solved its long running RRoD problem in the new Xbox 360 Slim, in true Microsoft style – by removing the red light from the design completely." :applause:

Here's a more detailed article from the website I took the quote from, if you want to check it out:

But in short, it seems that they still have the exact same problems as the first, since the hardware is exactly the same. All they did was change the cosmetics, and slightly improved ventilation.

Dang, that's a good deal. Too bad I already have MW2. I'd rather not acquire a 3rd copy of it. (Bought one separately, and then the one that came with the MW2 console)

Ya, expect a lot of people have MW2 already. Amazon trade in is 26$ right now. I actually traded mine in a couple weeks ago at that price.

Whether they do or not, everyone should be aware that the RRoD warranty for Slims is only 1 year (as opposed to 3 for older units).

Nice deal but how do you get the added 3% off? What is DPA?

EDIT: Nevermind I figured out what DPA is. With 3% off that price it would have been a really nice deal but without that your pretty much buying a regular 360 S and 4000 points and getting MW 2 for free.

4000 points is $50...

I know but this bundle is $349 total since dell makes you pay tax. You could actually buy all this stuff separately over at amazon for about the same price. A 250gb xbox 360 S is only $268 new with $4 shipping over at the amazon marketplace, you can get 4000 MS points for $42.95 + $4 shipping and MW 2 is only $40.

Your better off just buying one of the older model's bundles which are $249 on amazon with a game, extra controller, and free 2 day shipping with amazon prime.

You still need to add in wireless. Since people forget to add that in while comparing.

Which bundle would you guys get if you weren't really interested in playing either game? I think I could sell MW2 for $30 or Madden for $50, but maybe that's a little optimistic.

I already bought Bayonetta for the 360 this week, so when I finally get a 360 I'd like to start with that.

Really?
So the "s" doesn't have a new integrated XCGPU and run significantly cooler than the older models, even cooler than a ps3 slim?

I am purely going off of the article posted, and summarizing it. I don't actually own one to compare, since I already have the older model  Just a warning, either way.
Yea. Any other sources without porn on them posting your "information?"
That link was pretty nice though. :booty:

Take from it what you will. If the other contents of the site invalidates the information in your opinion, then so be it.

It just stands in stark contrast to everything else published or posted on the subject; Add to that something demonstrably incorrect, like the "s" hardware being exactly the same, and it appears to be disinformation and/or trolling.

I would be all over this like a fat kid on cake if i could get someone to buy me MW2 Elite. Dont wanna have a 400 xbox sitting around not getting used :(

Link please 'cause I'm not finding anything for $268. I'd actually whip out my CC if I can find a new 360 for that price.

Very interesting to hear the new console is only covered for a year when it comes to the RRoD >.> I'd still bite on it for $268 though.

I got this bundle. $350 with tax, but I am selling Modern Warfare 2 for $40, so it comes out to $310. Pretty good deal IMO, I don't usually get things from Amazon Marketplace so it came out cheaper than Amazon for me.
