Didn't see this posted and thought this was a pretty decent deal. Use Bing cashback (search for "overstock laptop") to get 15% cashback on Xbox 360 Slim.

$299.99 - 15% ($45, received Bing email already) = 254.99 + 2.95 ship = $257.94

They are currently in stock and I'm sitting here debating whether to finalize the purchase for myself.

I went ahead and bought. I'm done waiting on Gamestop.

Good find OP. Thanks for the heads up. I would love one of these but I just got the $130 - $50 GC arcade and my 60 GB Xbox is only ~5 months out of the one year warranty. I don't think I could justify having 3 Xboxes to my wife right now. I may be able to wait a year for the new model since I use a wireless AP in the game room. Thanks again OP.

BTW, I was born in Elmhurst and lived in Lombard from 1999 to 2005. Where ya from?

I'm considering trading in my 40GB PS3 to Gamestop for $200, buying Giftcards with all my trade-in credit on my Edge (currently $60) which would be $260. Then selling the gift cards, hopefully and getting a 360 SLIM online, or just paying the different and getting one from Gamestop (probably smarter since I won't have to deal with losing value on the gift cards).

I really don't know if I want to sell my PS3 or not, I really can't decide. I never watch Blurays and my understand is that if I want I could stream them to the 360 (ripping them on my PC?). But not really sure how that works...

Anyone unbiased have comments on the PS3 vs 360 (maybe someone that owns both)? My main reason for trading out the PS3 to 360 is how crappy game support and the online is. Demos later, patches later (sometimes no patches at all for PS3 games when 360 gets one), etc...

I prefer 360 for multiplatform games but I love having all 3 consoles so I don't miss any exclusives. So basically what I'm saying is just save up until you can afford a 360 without having to dump your PS3 to get it.

I did the exact same thing. Replaced my RROD repaired and expired Xbox Pro with the Target Arcade for $86. Once I get the Xbox 360 S I'm going to give it a test run and see how I like it. Losing system goes up on craigslist for sale along with some GameStop gift cards.

Off topic:
Funny, I was born in Chicago and now live in Elmhurst. Moved out there in 2006 :) Small world!

Thanks for this one, I took advantage of it. I've been waiting a week or so to buy one of these hoping to find a deal of some kind, but I really didn't expect to, so this is awesome!

I only play on the 360 and PC - and mostly on the 360 since all of my friends have that one. There really isn't a point to getting a PS3 for me, especially since I can chat with everyone on Xbox live all the time.

So tempted, but I just don't know if I can afford to spend that much money right now.
