Following suit with nintendo and recently with ps3, microsoft is breaking into the shoppers drug mart electronics category with the 360 slim.

We recieved them at our store this week as im sure others did as well. Not in the flyer for this coming week dec 18 - 24, but word is that there will be a big two day sale xmas day/boxing day when these will be released for sale. Even us (staff) arent sure what the deal will be.

Standard 4gb slim unit, I've checked the price at the moment and they are scanning 199.

Like I said i'm sure they will be relased on a times the points event or maybe even at a small discount.

I'll update with more news this coming week :)

When did PS3 get in? I visited a Shopper's a few weeks ago and only found out about their Wii and DS shelf.
 
They had been planning a 360 roll-out back in 2008. I saw some units in the newer stores when I was doing inventory. I guess they are going full bore now.
 
UPDATE
xbox 360's will be available in stores for purchase next week (boxing week), on sale for $149.99, they are also having a get more for points event, so this deal could be better than futureshop or best buy if you have optimum points to cash in. Cash in 95,000 points and get $200 instead of $150, so get the system free essentially with your points :)
