Xbox 360 slim hard drive

I am looking for a deal on the 320gb Microsoft branded hard drive for my 4gb Xbox slim. Any thoughts?

Wonder why no one stickies this topic to top, so many times its been asked, and people still don't know the cheapest option is to re-purpose an official old fat HDD, for a fraction of the cost.

I always put them in a case because I don't want the hard drive banging around if I have to move my 360.

Tools
Screwdriver ($6): http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc...ngId=-1&keyword=t6&storeId=10051#.UIKxi4aCuCU

Case (for slim hard drive) ($4.30): http://www.ebay.com/itm/Black-Inter...t=Video_Games_Accessories&hash=item35bffcf605

Price for slim 250gb: $90 http://www.amazon.com/Xbox-360-250G...id=1350742651&sr=8-3&keywords=xbox+hard+drive

Price for original xbox hard drive 250gb: new for $70 http://www.ebay.com/itm/BRAND-NEW-G...940?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1c2c412844

used for $50 - $60

So for new slim hard drive: $90 straight up
If you do this method looking at potential savings of: $40 for 10 minutes of extra work

Also if you don't need a 250 you can only save more by buying a 20, 60 or 120gb
these will register as official Microsoft HDDs by the 360 and will work exactly the same, done it twice myself.[/QUOTE]

I actually got mine from Goodwill's website, you just need to make sure to read the listing because it is pretty obvious that some of the people do not really know exactly what they have. Typos abound, and especially miscategorizations (which is how I got mine cheaper a couple years ago.) Also verify shipping won't be too high, it's usually ~$5-15 for me since they go by zipcode.
