These were like 15 or 20 bucks retail, but now they seem to be out of stock everywhere except places now charging 40-50 bucks for em. Any idea where to get them for retail price?

note: I mean the thing that connects controllers to the pc, not the thing that connects your 360 to your wireless router.

According to google shopping, Tronicsroom.com, aislebuyaisle.com, and akromo.com have them in stock for ~$20. Make sure to check resellerratings first, though.

If you're interested in doing the dirty work, you can grab one for free on Club Bing. They come with the wireless gaming controller for windows. The current ticket value is at 4500, and has been stuck there for some time. At that rate, 4.5 days worth of maxing out tickets and you'd be all set, with a little waiting, of course.
