No. This is headset so you don't have to have Wireless Network Adaptor
 
I've read about some problems about this headset (from cag also I think). Is it just a first shipment defect, or an actual design flaw?
 
I haven't had any problems what so ever from mine. My friend I usually play over Live with says the first time I used it it had the "white noise" but I was using it straight out of the package without charging it, hes said the problem hasnt came back since.

I love it, its so much more comfortable than the standard 360 one (which I've always hated the designs like that since back when Socom came with a similar mic)

just picked one up, for my son for xmas. i would get one for myself, but after what Cheapy said about it on the CagCast, I 'll do with the wired one just fine.

I was originally going to buy one of these from here, but it's nearly $18 more. If you thought you'd be using the Paypal $20 rebate...think again. Paypal's rebate program does not include Newegg as one of the participating merchants.

I don't know if this is mentioned in the other thread, but the paypal 20 off 50 thing doesn't apply to any merchants, only ebay auctions. Select merchants are free shipping.

The Amazon deal seems more tempting now since I have a free trial of Amazon Prime and no tax for CA residents.
 
Yes, the mic is seriously glitchy. That's a good price, but keep in mind you'll be sending a lot of extra noise to the people you play with. I'm holding out for a new revision, or I'll just get a different headset.
