When browsing through my buy.com deals, I found this little gem near the bottom of my e-mail. :)

Shipping is nice and free while tax I'm not sure about but it comes to
79.99 or 69.99 with GCO

Hope someone can find this useful.

yeah sure, now it goes on sale somewhere. I waited and waited to find a good price on this damn thing and nothing. I finally cave in a buy it and NOW its on sale....:bomb:

Great find. Without GCO, this is still a good deal since it's not really cheaper anywhere else. Best price I've seen is Office Depot, and if you were able to buy a 360 using that 15% coupon last week, you could've gotten this too for about $75. (Maybe sams club or costco web sites might be cheaper, but shipping killed the deal unless you bought more items. SC might also have these on clearance but I've never seen them)

Strangely... if you opt for more expensive shipping, you get charged tax on it.
Too bad I used GCO already for an antec laptop cooler.
There has got to be one of these that works, is USB, and supports WPA besides this one. AND alot cheaper.
I had to stop using the original MS XBOX one for this reason, it didn't support WPA and I live in an apartment (I know there's this man that doesn't leave the house and doesn't work and may have too much time to break my WEP.) Sucks, cause it worked great but I'm too paranoid.

You cant get everything but close enough. Supports WPA and only about $56 +tax?
It doesnt have USB but if you are running other stuff to your entertainment system, its awesome since theres 4 ports.

Or you can go even cheaper and find the regular Buffalo Router($40), flash with DD-WRT and set to bridge mode.

Well your options are basically use this or use a bridge. (You can probably configure some routers as bridges, such as the buffalo router that was on sale at CC last week & is on sale at cc.com this week). I didnt know this didn't support WPA... that makes no sense.

eff wireless, even at this price. I already have the cords running throughout my house and it's practically plug & play.

Can't tell you how many hours I've wasted on setting up wireless, and I don't know why. Technology frustrates me and I become determined to win, despite whether or not it's worth the effort...

Although it's nice to find out that you can use something other than the MS adapter (if I'm reading correctly).

You know there's something wrong when $80 is considered a deal for this.

*sigh* And I need to replace my wireless bridge, too.

Nuts to that. I bought a 25ft ethernet cable to run into my living room from my room. Gets in no ones way and cost me a mere $5. There's something terribly wrong when wireless adapters cost more than routers.

I just want to point out that the wireless adapters for the original Xbox work just fine with the 360. I got mine off a CAG for like $25.

It may be pricey, but it's a damn good adapter. My craptacular Wireless G connection from my compact linksys router wasn't too strong where my 360 was, but with the adapter it gave nothing below a 3 bar signal, which is pretty good for my network.
