Just want to know if anyone knows any good deals on the official xbox network usb adapter. I have wireless and ive heard this is the way to go. If not, suggestions?

Click the link in my signature :p
But if you don't want to have wires, there are some other contraptions people have, I don't use them, and they will be posted here :p

If you don't mind buying a cheap Wireless router, and have a bare minimum of technical skill, you can use opensource firmware to do something like this:

Cheap wireless for your 360

If you follow that above link, keep in mind that it is referring to the Revision 4 of the WRT54G, which is... difficult to find. The WRT54GL is the router of choice for this kind of thing, as it is LITERALLY a re-release of the Revision 4 WRT54G.

I'm planning to do this myself, as I'm setting up my first wireless network ever. This way I can have a nice four port bridge in the living room, and skip buying a 360 dedicated device.

Hope that helps somewhat? Of course, with anything that involves tinkering, there is risk.
