Xbox broken, can't keep HDD, no transfer kit - What can I do?

My Xbox is broken, I can't keep the hard drive and I don't want to lose my saved games. Is there any way to transfer my data from an hard drive to another?

I'd snap your drive onto another unit and transfer your saves to a memory card.

Wait how broken is it? RRoD or disc drive failure or hard drive failure?

There is a kit they sold in the beginning when it came out that dumps files from the 360 hard drive to your PC drive but I haven't seen it in quite sometime.

NVM, I'm allowed to keep it. And it turned into a RRoD this morning.

Maybe a CAG can send you the transfer kit and then you send it back? Something like that.
