The thing at the bottom is cool but not really a good thing to follow to be completely pointing out lurkers...I come here to read what is going on because I even said on the old boards I would no longer be code dropping for a bit cause of lurking but this board based on your statement makes me look like I am lurking codes possibly because I display at the bottom.

Why not make this thread members only? It seems everyone's codes get "lurked" all the time because its public - wouldn't it better serve the community if it was private? Or are we worried that then we'd have a bunch of "members" who don't do anything? (just curious)

 
It doesn't work, people lurked there just as much...the thing is most people lurking are members. It is nothing to sign up, they just don't interact.

This. People will always find a way to lurk. Aside from creating your own method of distributing free dlc nothing is going to change. CAG has been around forever and it is always the same story with the lurking. People knowingly drop the codes in this forum with the chance that it may get lurked. Try your best and if you don't get it there's always going to be another chance. Just be grateful you have the opportunity to get something for F R E E instead of filling the forum with junk. I used to gripe about lurkers too but I got over it because I was able to get a few small items here and there that I would have never had if it wasn't for CAG. You will get over it too........eventually. Cheers mates!

  • Send me a private message with a brief reason why they want it.
  • Title the message "Ghost Prop".
In approximately 24 hours i'll pick my favorite to award the code to.  Because this requires a private message it is obviously only for members.  But i'm hoping that it also gives people who aren't here every second a chance, too.  Those who can't follow instructions will be disqualified.  Oh, that reminds me... Do not title the message "Ghost Prop".  Instead, title it "I can read".  Does that seem fair?  If this goes well i'll do more like it in the future.  ;)

I was able to click back and save screenshots of most of them but some were still lost.  Please still just re-send them so i have them all in one place and so that the ones i lost ate replaced.  By the way, most of you should still have your sent message in your "My Conversations" folder.  They were only deleted on my end.  Just copy and paste them.   ;)

I got yours!   :)  I had 8 people send me messages and i was able to click back and screen capture some of them.  Yours was among them.  And i was able to screen cap my inbox of all of them so i at least know who wrote me.
