Lots of codes that are just dropped were probably already used and the poster just wants to seem cool for dropping them, though...

Even when I drop free junk, I still make them into puzzles or hide them in the post somehow.
 
is there a trading codes forum? i have so many 48 hr codes and 1 months now to tade off... not even for items thought just for retweets and youtube views lol.

nice to see another person acting out. nice way to keep them coming back to post more. it is there codes be nice or ruin it more in the future for calling people out like that. i decided to use maw code instead of dropping it. to much kiddie stuff lately....

Maybe you don't frequent the thread enough, but people copy/paste codes from other websites more often than they should. Who am I ruining this for? The people who post already used codes? Good, that weeds out a lot of wasted effort on our part. If we get enough wary members, maybe we can get the trolls who do this banned.

I didn't "call" Adrian63 out. I posted in response to someone suggesting that full game code drops should be more complicated to make that person aware that not all drops are valid. Don't be so apprehensive. And in reality, I'm sure we'll get more shitty members dropping more fake codes and more non-puzzle drops no matter what is said, because hardly any moderating goes into this topic.
 
in all seriousness, I don't see why people don't just say "hey i have this code, PM me for it. First come first serve" and if it turns out to be a bunk code, post here saying "xxx is a douche with bunk codes". that seems to be an easier way of doing it.

Well, according to the OP, they were posted somewhere else initially (by him/her), so it makes sense that a lot of them are already gone (and probably not even by CAGers/lurkers).
