I've started going through old gaming stuff to find things I'm willing to part with, and stumbled upon these.

Soulcalibur II kiosk demo discs for Xbox, Gamecube and PlayStation 2. The Xbox one is sealed in the cardboard sleeve. The others include their sleeve, but have been opened. I can't decide if I want to sell them off or not, and can't seem to find any price point that might help make up my mind.

The lack of information -- coupled with them being kiosk demos -- makes me suspect they might be worth something, but you never really know with these sorta things. Anyone have any clue what I might be able to fetch by posting them on eBay, or for sale here or elsewhere?

Thanks for the help!

well, generally speaking, kiosk demos are not meant to get out to the public. stores are usually told to destroy copies afterwards, and company reps usually make sure that happens -- especially with all the nintendo stuff. i'm not sure how strict the microsoft and sony people are about it.

plus, at the time, many stores were using multi-game demos provided by nintendo, microsoft and sony themselves. single-game demos were not as common in-store for consoles, so not a lot of these went out to retailers in the first place.

in other words -- very limited numbers.

now, that means nothing for value if demand isn't there. there are plenty of people who collect all the gamecube/xbox/playstation games, and demos themselves -- but that doesn't necessarily mean that they care about these discs, or would be willing to shell out big bucks for one.

which is really why i asked the question -- searching the interwebs about these demos has turned up plenty of results about them being rare, but not necessarily anything about them being expensive or inexpensive. i was just wondering, hoping to hear from a collector, if these discs held any real value, or were simply just cheap demos that wouldn't sell for 7 cents.
