45 shipped is a great deal.. you can get ffcc for 30 dollars new at sams club, and viewtiful joe for 18 new at walmart. So thats 48 dollars. Take into account that these are preplayed games, and 45 is more than generous.

Akkis, we are posting on CHEAP ass gamer, so don't blame us for believing that we are "God's gift", aka The Golden Rule- helping one another, for game deals. Manimal found Steel Battalion new for $99, I remember seeing FF:CC for $20, SC:pT for $30, Ninja Gaiden for $34 from Target, etc. Don't blame us for trying to negotiate you below the cheap prices that we could have picked up the games for NEW. It's not that we're being dicks, we're just being Cheap, which is the entire point of this site to begin with.

Akkis, no harm is meant by our comments my friend. We're not wasting your time if you posted to have reasonable offers sent to you. What we are PMing you as offers is reasonable for used games... go to EB or Gamestop, and you will see that selling here is a better offer. You can try Ebay, but you will get about the same prices and you have to pay selling fees. Good luck and take care! (Oh, and we don't believe that we are God's gift to the world, we just enjoy helping each other out in order to play videogames for cheaper than MSRP prices. If we were God's gift, we would have smited you for saying the comments that you have!)

I didn't see anyone stating that they were God's gift to anything - people are just looking for deals. If you want top dollar for your items, you should be the person to post what you're selling elsewhere.
 
I have to agree with Akkis here. Let the man sell his games for whatever he wants. If it's too much people won't pay. If you're not interested in buying the games why not just ignore it and let him try to sell whatever he can. Don't you think it's a bit annoying for people to come into his thread and try to diss his price? He's not asking for any deal moderators.....

He wants to get as much as he can so he can buy an iPod. Why not just let him be. Offering to go buy a game somewhere onsale and sell it to someone so they won't pay this guy too high an amount, isn't that a bit much? Think about it guys if you were selling something you'd want to get back as much of your cash as possible, you certainly wouldn't want other people interfering with that.

Well I noticed that the traders at CAG here haggle and if you aren't willing to haggle (hellbent on getting the price you set) prepare to be bashed. But that is a good thing IMO because some people truely have some lopsided ideas for prices.
 
It's 100% cool for the person who is buying and the person who is selling to haggle with eachother, of course. But I think that when you have everyone coming in who wasn't asked and isn't buying or selling pointing out how much cheaper they could get it or how they'll get it for you cheaper....that's not really needed.

People do have lopsided ideas for prices, but that's their perrogative, if it doesn't sell they'll be forced to lower it.

I don't want to start a flamewar, but I did mention this AFTER you stated it, and in a different context. You took my words out of paragraph, which is unfair to their meaning. And Akkis, your prices for SC:pT and Ninja Gaiden are fair prices... I was almost willing to purchase Gaiden, but I am poor and need to get some money first, so I am waiting either for that, or for a cheaper deal to pass my way.

You forgot the part AFTER that, "aka The Golden Rule- helping one another, for game deals". What he acomplished was helping some other gamers find the best prices on some games, I know I was glad to know that Wal-Mart had Viewtiful Joe so cheap, so he at least helped me out. There's really no need for you get so mad, if your prices are good then your stuff will sell, if not then it won't, so I don't understand why you are so mad? Unless it's because you know your prices aren't the best and are upset that someone is letting people know that there are better deals? If you're looking to make money, I'd really recomend E-Bay, if list your item well then you'll usually get good prices and find some idiot willing to over pay.
 
All i ask is for people to let me do what i wanna do. I hate when someone posts a thread and someone shits all over it. It shouldnt be like that...people think its cool when someone else "flames" another person. Why can that be considered cool. If the golden rule is to help each other out then why are people making fun of people here and getting comended for it. Thats all i am saying. If you dont likt the price move on. What does ur smart ass comments accomplish. If it makes you feel better as a person then i feel bad for you. That this is what you get kicks out of.
 
if you can get it cheaper somewhere else, then please do so. akkis is a good guy trying to get what his games are worth. if a store has it on sale, or you can get it cheaper from a friend, by all means do it. but dont make stupid offers based on a one week sale that will never happen again
 
Most of the posts here have been more helpful than harmful, I believe. If you check out my FS thread, you will see that I lowered all of my prices following the suggestions of others. And I don't believe that I have made fun of you in any of my posts, so I am still following the Golden Rule. Peace out, Jeff.

You are correct. Just ignore them, their smart ass comments are meant to trigger retaliation, which is where the satisfaction of the remark comes from. Once you reply to one of them, it starts a flamewar. And I understand completely what you mean by other people crapping on your thread. It is uncalled for. Over and out- Jeff.
