Good price, nice find.

I had to jump on it at NewEgg when it was $36 a few months back, the lowest I've ever seen. So, I'll be set for another year.

Probably because PSN cards are represented in terms of real money rather than space bucks.
 
Remember 2008 when the buy.com daily deal used to be $30 for the 12+1 card and then $28 for the 12 month card? That is still the max I'm willing to pay for LIVE.

Luckily this time last year Target had 12 month cards priced at $19.99 on Halo Reach release week. Pulled the trigger and stocked up for life.

I don't think that's negative. There are advantages to buying from Amazon (Trade in credit, Prime members, etc). However, for someone like me who has neither, this is a great chance to enroll in a pretty damn good rewards program and to get credit from Overstock to use on Christmas presents and what not. Free shipping is just icing on the cake.

It costs $20 to enroll for a year, but you get a permanent 5% back on everything you purchase there and free shipping (Hello Christmas). I'm buying enough now to pay for the club and then some with their 12% back special right now.

Buy.com used a Google Checkout coupon that got me a similar price in 2008 for a 12 +1 month card. The Target "deal" was an obvious price mistake that some people just abused over and over in multiple trips to separate locations, etc.
