Booted up my 360 today and saw this.

As the picture shows: $35.99 for the year, about $3 a month.

I did not have an Xbox Live Gold Subscription active at the time.  I have been off of Xbox Live Gold for about 5 months.

This is my first deal post so if I have made an error please let me know and I will quickly correct it.

Thanks CAGs and enjoy!  Hopefully a lot of you get in on this deal.

This might only be for non-Gold members.

On my GOLD enabled account I don't see it, but logging into my secondary Silver account it shows up. However, it seems the price is targeted since mine shows 3 Months for $5/month.

 
I'm guessing this is for silver only. I did this same deal last year when my gold ran out. It was for silver members only back then
 
It happens sometimes to people when their membership is going to expire/expires, it renews the next year for 59.99$ though. I got it when I got my membership.

 
I always get these offer when i am on silver never gold, but i have never gotten that kind offer that OP stated.

 
I got the same deal as the OP. Was not expecting to renew for awhile, but this was my price point. To state the obvious, I was a silver member whose account expired recently.
