I want to order some stuff online, but my local EB doesn't honor or sell the card.

I promise,... I will only use it once,... and with permission in the future,.... unless you choose not to.


The only thing I have to offer, is an XBox Live 2 month card, and gmail invites.
I know,... it's lame,.. but so is my EB.

PM me, if you wouldn't mind helping out.
I'm sure everyone is going to flame the hell out of me,... but thanks anyways for at least considering.

and to the op, you'd be hard pressed to find someone willing to get you a card for either of those as both are given away for free quite often. but good luck in your search
 
The 2-month trial card, that comes with LIVE games.

My EB continually claims that they don't sell, or honor the EDGE card.
I'm not sure if it's because I'm in DE or what,.. but it sucks.

I'm still confused as to what you mean by "XBox Live code for EB edge card".. are you looking for a code for the Edge card, or looking for a trade? OH! You're offering a 2 month trial to use someone's Edge card! I understand now.. you know that the Edge card only works on preowned material, right?
 
i heard that you can only use the edge card with one name or else they void the code..if someone on cag can buy you one and pm you the code and not use it again, that would probably be best..just like paypal them $5 back or something..cause yea thats what my cousin did for me since i live in hawaii and theres no ebgames here..

WTH? He can't flat out deny you to sell the Edge card or not acknowledge it's existance! EB is not a franchise owned by different people in different regions like say a Subway ot Dunkin Donuts where they CAN refuse certain offers as they list or say it on the promotion. EB is a public company with a National Chain of 500+ stores; ALL owned by '1' owner... the shareholders.


Either way, I checked EB's website regarding the Edge card and Delaware state taxes. There is NO mention whatsoever about not accepting or selling the card in DE.

I think you better e-mail them or get a hold of them via the 800 number (listed at the bottom of the web page) and complain. I'm sure his District Manager willl be none too pleased about what that manager is not doing.

Be sure to have a store receipt if possible as it will have the 'store number' on it (Not required, but helps). Also make a note of who told you that at EB as they are definatly going to ask you that (Are you 100% this was the store manager that told you?)

Either way man, sucks to hear. Too bad you can't use your Gamestop card for gamestop online (from what I recall). Good luck and let us know if anything comes of this! ;)
 
It does seem really odd that they wouldn't sell or accept the card. Delaware is a small state, however -- Any chance you can make it to a different EB to buy the card?

yeah you sould call corporate and tell them they are not selling eb edge cards, and while your at it tell them they won't sell you an extended warranty on a used game.

They'll fire every person at that EB so fast.

Ha - you're an evil one.
But I agree - theres no way they should be denying you the Edge - I live in Louisiana, possible the most backwards place to live besides upstate New York and we can buy them here.

EDIT: I've lived upstate New York before all you Newark people jump on my case...

Yeah,...... I'm going to drive up to another mall on my next day off.
It's about an hour away, but it's much bigger than my mall.

I wanted to get in on the BOGO1/2, and use an EDGE.
I didn't know it voided the card though.
