Too bad i dont work at a "name brand" kind of store..then again, when i worked at k-mart we werent a part of thier retailler incentive plans.
 
Do you have to be a retail employee to actually get this deal? You can go through the entire process and just put in a fake store name. Will it work?

just think about it for a second. just because you don't work at one of these stores does not mean that you are out of luck. for instance, where i work isn't listed, not really a surprise, but my father works for SBC, and that is on the list. so, if i decide to get in on this deal, i'll just put down my dad's name, use SBC, and everything should be a-ok.

Yes, because you would hate to think that Microsoft is going to go thru the trouble of checking to see that each and every person works where they say they work. And what if they were to find someone was lying? I can only imagine jail time in a federal "pound me in the ass prison"
 
Last time they did this, they made us all send in a fax of our paycheck stubs because so many people who did not work retail ordered it. I think its bad for this link to be posted, because people who actually quality and are part of the retail program recieved the email.

i didn't say to lie or commit fraud or anything of the sort. my dad works at SBC, i still live with my parents. it was for the people who live with others to think about.
 
WTF!!! i gte all the way to the last step to order the stuff. i had to back out using the back button. Now it says both products are "previoulsy ordered" i never put my credit card info in. WTF???!!!

me too. I sent them an email, we'll see what happens.
 
I resigned up with microsoft net pass under a new user id and email. it worked. I signed in again and was able to make the order. $35.09 with shipping. I got an auto reply and called the number. they are clueless but she confirmed my order. I can't seem to find the website to track it though.

Yep, I was able to order also, although I did not have to re-sign up. I logged back in (had already done that several times, cleared cookies, and cache, etc, without success), it just appeared in my cart again, and I received an email. I can't track my order on the site either.
 
hmm...i have a retail account from when i worked for eb last may....even though i quit and havent worked for a while i still get emails for ms retail team, and i can still do the quizzes to get games...so is it safe to bet i could do this ;)

Nope, I've always had problems with the ePup site, I've ordered products from them for years, but when I sign in through my .net, I'm listed as "not verified". I received confirmation after I ordered, and a follow up email about 2 hours later, but no online access. :(

No code needed, but in the disclaimer, it does mention that they can cancel your order if they find out you're not qualified.

Could be why there's a 6-8 week lead time on this!
 
is there an email or phone number you can contact them at? I placed an order, and i do indeed work at one of the listed retail stores, but i accidentally put my "billing" information in incorrectly. how should i contact them about it?
 
Is this coming with Crimson Skies or Mech Assault? I received confirmation for Mech Assault but ordered Crimson Skies. I just emailed them regarding this.

Any one else get an answer in writing about this?
 
In their terms they indicate that if you do not work retail and order from the retail site they can press charges against you. Usually they just ask for a fax of a paycheck stub before they ship on your first order.

Just look to the checkout area and youll see the rest of the steps, it said the same for me, but I wa still able to complete my order with no probs
 
My LIVE subscription doesnt expire till NOVEMBER - can i buy a year for $19 and just wait? is it just a 12 month subscription card they send you or what?

You can actually just enter the code on your xbox and extend your current subscription, I believe.
 
what is the e-mail address to talk to the xbox people about getting this deal....when i log in it says i have ordered it already but i haven't and it wont let me cliick on the contact us link...WTF fuck this shit....help

My cousin works at BestBuy, and I want to ask him to buy this for me, so I can give him the cash for the product. Anyway, after he receives it and gives it to me, can I use my dad's credit card to actually use XBOX LIVE and make my username? Or will I have to play under my cousin's name, because if I would, that would be too much trouble for him.

Thanks, oh, and what are the requirements for this offer? Will he have to show them anything, or will Microsoft bother them or something? Because I don't want to be the reason for him being bugged by Microsoft. Thanks.
 
Yes, you can use your dad's credit card. Microsoft will probably ask your cousin to fax a copy of a recent paycheck stub.
