I just might get one of them, if I find a good price on it.


I wish they released a clear blue controller, like the clear blue controller S.
 
The date was confirmed, so it is coming out on the 5th. Also it comes with a headset because the keypad connects to the current headset spot. You have to use the headset it comes with to have voice chat at the same time.

I have it reserved. I play FFXI, so right there it would get a ton of use. Also I have a lot of friends on MSN who like to message me when I'm on Live, so I'd use it a lot then too.

seriously, just buy a usb keyboard and then you can chat just like that messenger attachment and save atleast $20

I have a USB keyboard now, but it's awkward. I don't play my games at a desk or anything. I sit on a couch, and sometimes I like to relax or even lie down while playing something. This is far more versatile than having to shuffle around a keyboard everytime I change prositions.
 
The headset is included because the jack on the chatpad is different than the jack on the controller. They gave the chatpad headset a regular mini plug, and moved the mute button to a small piece on the wire.

When I first heard about this I thought "Oh this will come in handy". I thought it would be a $10 add on, not the cost of a new controller. I think everyone who is saying "It reminds me of a Jaguar controller" there is one major difference; Jaguar used all those extra buttons to control the game, this is just to type.

I will definitely pick one of these up, but I will wait until I can find one used or on sale for $5-10. No way would I pay any more then that when I have a computer 5 feet away with all the chatting ability I need.
 
Works well and fits perfectly with the controller also comes with another headset so not much of a big deal. Its easier to text people to play and chat.
 
I bought this thing , and the video camera. Realized that the video camera was better then emailing/typing I returned thing without opening it. After 3 days of Using the camera, and having only my cousin who has it, I decided to give up and return it to Kmart , no questions asked for a refund :)
 
I thought this would be a lot better than moving the analog stick around to type but not going to buy it at 30 bucks though. I'll stick with my headset, just make it easier to send voice chats, duh.
 
Mine turned up from Amazon yesterday, took them ages to ship it (I ordered last Wednesday) not sure why.

It's ok, it does make typing messages and codes a lot easier, but I'm not sure that's gonna be worth $30 to people.

It only cost me $4.99 after a $25 Amazon voucher I got from my Visa Rewards points.
