Xbox Live renewal question

My Live subscription is expiring sometime in late January. Will it automatically renew and charge me $50, or do I have to renew it manually?

You have the regular Xbox (non-360) sub, right?

It all depends on what you have on your dashboard settings. I believe that the default option is to charge you $50 and give you another year of service when yours expires. Of course, you can go and change that option to monthly renewal if you wish.

It will auto-renew at 50 bucks for the year.

You will get a email telling you there gonna charge your credit card on such date. Make sure you check your email to which xbl is set up.

Well it depends on what you have it as. Go to your dashboard, and look for the subscription info, cause if you want, you can modify the billing to be monthly.

I agree with the poster who said to make sure your email address is set to your Live account. I get emails everytime my son does a $5.00 download. That's a nice feature to have when you've got 2 Xbox's and your kid thinks it's okay to pay the $5.00 for both systems! UGGGHHHH

For us, the $50 was automatically charged when ours expired and I got an email telling me in advance that they'd be taking it out and when they'd do it, then I got another one when they actually took the money.
