From what I heard, the way it works is that a random time is chosen throughout the day (e.g., 10:11 a.m.), then the first person to play at or after that time is the "Instant Winner" for the MS points.

MS, being cheap, probably only has one designated instant win time for each day of the contest, so with 1000's of people playing everyday, your or any CAG's chance of winning is slim to none....

No instant win luck for me thus far and I don't expect to get anything by the time this is over. It's easy, though, so whatever. May as well try.
 
It's ERewards fault they suck donkey ..... They also love to not give you points you deserve and give you no support, I didn't think you could have worse service than M$...

Every point you have is like a raffle ticket. The more you have the better your odds of winning.

1800 is the final score, meaning the contest is all over and that you mustve got a perfect score every day. This score is for a chance to win the grand prize, 10,000 MS points.

There's also weekly prizes of 4,000MS points, based on your weekly scores.
Someone who has only got 1 question right can easily win against someone who has got every question right all week; it's a raffle.

Honestly guys, do you know how many people are in the Rewards program?
Even someone that has only played 1 day of the IQ test could beat someone who has played daily , since day 1. This is why it's so annoying how everyone in here is like "OMG I didnt win f**k M$ they're obviously ripping us off, I cant believe I havent won instantly yet ive been playing daily!!!!". "Not an instant winner today, bummer! I'm a CAG we should be winning!"

Yep, you and everyone else , man. The chances of being an instant winner are similar to the lottery, especially since it's all based on lucky timing.
Know why YOU GUYS havent instantly won? Because there is 86,400 seconds in a day. There's only a few instant win prizes per day. They are posted at random times, like 7:01:22 AM. The 1st one to finish the test after that time is an instant winner. Do the math...lol it's just 100 - 1000MS points, guys...forrealsies. Let's try to just have fun with it and not condemn Microsoft.

If someone from CAG wins the Grand Prize, I will sell all my videogames for a penny.
